Some Basic Stuff for Newbies

Day 2,612, 11:36 Published in Australia Australia by eAus Department of Information

To all you new eAustralians: Welcome! If you are in the very early days, you are probably ehungry and just want to fight! Not to worry; she’ll be right, mate. Here are a few sources and suggestions to help you get off the ground, on the topics of the JDS, Training, Food, and Companies.

JDS
This is eAustralia’s Joey Development Scheme. You will get gold for completing basic tasks. All Div 1 players should enroll! Don’t wait to sign up! Click the link below…

Training

Gaining strength is your number one priority. You gain strength by training. Try to save your gold, be patient, and upgrade your Training Grounds (especially the free one) when the discounts come around. (For those hecklers cawing, “Hypocrite!” at me, let’s just say I am not the eworld’s most patient player, nor the fastest learner—Stop laughing!) 😃 Check this link…

Food

Always read the news and chat room posts to get free stuff! The article below gives some basic info on finding the best food buys. As things have changed somewhat since it was published, I will add that Q4 food is often well worth price checking these days. Also, consider if something big might be coming up—during a holiday promo or a big push to take or defend territory, the demand for food will rise and so will the price. So if at all possible, stock up before these events.

Companies

Your companies let you produce stuff that you can use, eat, or sell, for a very small investment (of energy and maybe raw materials). So make them work for you! I will be putting together an article on (very) basic company management soon, so stay tuned…

Finally, do not hesitate to ask if you need something. Post it in the chat room, or check with your employer. Someone will almost always help you out—we were all newbies once! Finally, PM JackTrout with your question or suggestion; 25 Q4 food for you if I use it in an article!
