RUSSIAN REGIONS KEPT BY HUNGARY AND INDONESIA

I read this article written by the Romanian ambassador in Ukraine.

Basically the view of the Romanian ambassador in Ukraine is that Russia should try and recover the two regions held by Hungary (North Caucasus) and Indonesia (Western Siberia). While I agree with the idea that Russia should try to recover at no cost (war or pay) these two regions, the reasons why I believe this a good move for Russia is somehow different to the one in the article above.

We should not make a blind comparison between Ukraine and Russia situation.

First of all, at the time of Romanian TO in Ukraine, part of Ukraine politics was controlled by Hungarian. This is not (to my knowledge) the case in Russia. I don't see a TO possible in Russia, regardless whether it is tried by Romania or Hungary.

Second, Russia is a much bigger country than Ukraine (population, economy, military). Russia can have its own voice, that is why somehow I understand why Russians might not like the fact that Romanians are trying to discuss what Russians should do. But this means also that Russia can have its own voice in discussions with Hungary and Indonesia without any support from other countries. Uunfortunately Ukraine did not have this possibility.

Third, the outcome does not have to be the same. I fully understand Russia does not want to be an ally of Romania (for the time being or even longer) or does not want an MPP with Romania. Russia does not need such arrangements, Ukraine needed it otherwise they would have been attacked by Hungary. Russia can have its own strategy of achieving the goal of recovering two Russian regions, with or without MPPs with EDEN/FORTIS.

Now after we talked about differences, let's see the similarities to Ukraine situation.

Actually there is only one- from my perspective. Hungary and Indonesia are the two pillars of PEACE and while they talk about equality and peace their means of ensuring such outcome are not based on the freedom of expression. They like to keep their allies on a tight leash.

Ukraine was more of a Hungarian affair (Indonesia did not want to be involved). Hungary had direct access to Ukraine regions and could attack them anytime. It was obvious Ukraine wanted their regions back but never dared to challenge Hungary, as they FEARED. The Romanian TO and further strategic developments ensured there is no more fear in Ukraine. Romanians left and after them there is a stronger Ukraine, not a weaker one. There is a Ukraine who can now speak freely even with Hungary.

Russia is a bigger fish to fry for the two PEACE bosses. That is why each of them is holding one Russian region. Each of them can attack any time. Both regions were provided with hospital and defence Q5, which means that there is an intention to defend against any attack. Who can actually afford to attack these regions? Only Russia. All the defense was built to prevent a Russian attack. If you create fear, you also fear. The two warlords somehow fear what Russia might do and are trying to secure easy access to attack Russia while being able to defend these two regions.

Russia is living with two guns pointed at its head. Logically on one of them it should be written FORTIS and on the other one EDEN. Well things are not so logical in this case. It looks like on one gun it is written HUNGARY and on the other one INDONESIA. The guns will be fired immediately once Russia steps out of the way designed by the two pistoleers.
