New Module Changes: How this should change TEDEN strategy
ArawnLives
Now that the module changes are here, I think we need to re-evaluate how we approach battles to derive the maximum impact from our fighting. We don't have a very large population, so we cannot expect that all players be asked to hit in a battle randomly and expect to win against a more numerous opponent. Hence, the need of the hour will be efficiency, especially at the level of being effective in and for TEDEN.
Orders will need to be updated more often, and it won't just be about supplying tanks - we need to start organizing MUs much better in terms of regiments, and ensuring that the four-fold division is accurately maintained in the regiment rolls as well. Thus, when setting Daily Orders and the like, we can look at and look to battles where we feel that specific set of players will be most required. For this, there has to be much faster updating of priorities, and a much closer watch on the way a battle is progressing. Also, this can no longer be done from IRC the way things stand (the API hasn't been geared to deal with this yet).
Further, TEDEN is short on damage and has, thus far, managed (or at least, that's what the propaganda tells us) on the basis of better organisation. Well, it's time we got organised.
The EDEN priorities we're given need to be suitably changed. First, the priorities should be discussed and given daily, as it usually is - at this point, the MU Commanders should be able to set Daily Orders by regiment, and MUs should be nimble enough to switch between battles depending on where the wall is for each one in each level of engagement. Further, dispatchers shouldn't just send you off to a single battle/campaign - they need to be more aware of where the wall is and should accordingly send players, based on their level, to various battles.
============================
EDIT - I can see that eIndonesia is already making these changes - http://www.erepublik.com/en/article/-eri-1-update-strategy-module-war-baru--2057520/1/20
I think it's high time EDEN woke up and took notice - it might just have been a day, but we have to be faster to keep up.

This new module just ecourages multis to be created to win division 1 and 2 battles.

You're right, Bhane. But players in Division 3 and Division 2 are now able to get BHs ...
I do like that, Arawn. : )
New players deserve a chance at BH's !
It will affect all soliders, alliance or not. I think that organising into regiments based on division will only be useful for huge armies. Smaller units would be better placed to mix abilities within one DO per regiment, to be able to make any measurable difference.

Grainne, I recognise that it'll affect all players - I just feel that it will be more critical for EDEN soldiers, given the current situation the alliance is in.
Further, with EDEN giving priority orders, we are effectively one large army with very small divisions, right? A kind of organic structure ... and while for us, individually, the orders might not matter so much, on the whole it is essential.
"we" ?
Well, for you, yes. Other units operate differently was all that I meant.

good job
some countries put 1 division in 1 MU
that is good strategic and logistic
but
if you do that you will put army and paramilitary in the same MU
fi they dont have the same IRC chan. that is logistic death
I think by "we" he means Ireland Grainne. Enough of your shit throwing. Ignore her Arawn, not worth anyones time
@ Grainne - Perhaps - for smaller MUs, co-ordination is easier, and I guess they can manage without. This is generally to make it easier for overall general organisation, such as Daily Orders and the like. I apologize if this was somehow offensive.
@Hateful - I was hoping that MU regiment captains would be smart enough to manage that. 🙂
@orangejuicemmm - Yes, I did mean eIreland - but it's okay, mate. I don't mind at all. I have a lot of time.
