Join the new world

Why hello there, everypony!

I hope you enjoyed the presidential election season! For those of you who are unaware, NewAzazel won the NLR Primary 6-5 over HeapSeppo with Oblige gaining 1 vote and DLS taking the last 2. However, we did not implement the results in-game. Due to how new the party is and our status as an ATO party, I decided not to endorse any of the major candidates. Instead, I simply ran as a blocker, even though it turned out that blockers would not be needed.

I would like to thank everyone who decided to come to our party in order to boost it into the top 5 for CP elections. Although it ended up being unnecessary, it was a nice gesture. If you’d like to come back to boost us into congressionals, you’re more than welcome to do so!

With the change of administrations, I am glad to announce that I will have more time to devote to building the NLR. This is mainly due to the fact that NewAzazel and I have switched positions in the State Department. He is now the SoS, and I have his old job as deputy SoS. That gives me a lot more time to focus on the well-being of our party.

So what am I going to do first with my new time? Well, I think I’m up to date with forum maskings, so why not start up a new inter-party contest?

New Lunar Republic Fantasy Football

That’s right, football fans! With the traditional Hall of Fame Game kicking off the preseason a few days ago, the regular season starts in just one month! That means fantasy football leagues are getting started across the nation!

We here at the New Lunar Republic invite you to join our Fantasy Football League!

The league will be open to anyone from any party! We will be hosting the league on ESPN’s website and have an IRC channel open to facilitate trades and gameday conversation! Preferably, the league would have an live draft, or as close as we could get to one.

For enduring such a long season and coming out on top, the following prizes will be awarde😛

1st Place: 20g
2nd Place: 10g
3rd Place: 5g

So whether you’re a Pony, a Zombie, a Fed, AMP-er, one of The People, or a Seed, you’re more than welcome to join the league!!
