Dutch Marley for PP of USMJ/RLC - Quotes from respected players.

Hello all,

I plan to write a number of articles about USMJ/RLC election. I first want to start with a history lesson. When Jude created the USMJ he did not go in and pto any party. He went into the party and with the blessing of the former PP he ran and won the election. This is important. Because it shows that he respected the party and did not just try and take over. That is what I am asking for this party now. If Dennis McVicker really wants to come help then show you are real. You have come back from a long absence. Put some time in. I know you have asked but sometimes it takes a while to get started. If you want it you can have a spot with the party. But if you try and take over the party then you prove it is not for the right reasons.

I ask for the same thing in the USMJ/RLC. No one just deserves to run a party. No one should be able to walk in and say they deserve to be PP. I was told by many PP's that you should put in a couple of months in a party to get on Congressional ballots and longer to get a shot at PP. I have been with the USMJ/RLC since the inception. I was there with Jude. Jude trusted me and said that he would love for me to lead the party. I am the only party member running for PP now. Please show this party respect like you would any other.



Now onto the meat and potatoes. I have went out and gotten quotes from many of the prominent players in this game. All of these players know me from my three years in the game or know my history over the three years in the game. I made a number of bad decisions in the game. In my early time I made mistakes. I supported the wrong people. I said things that I should not have and did things that hurt players and countries. I have apologized many times over for my mistakes. When I came back the eUS I knew that only my actions could show that I realized my mistakes and needed to atone. So I joined the eUS Armed Forces. I worked my way through the ranks and was given a position as PCO. I met many good people and made some good friends like Emperor Zahradka. I then left the military and joined EZC. Gnilraps was told I should be kicked out. But he gave me a chance and I proved that I would commune and work hard on behalf of EZC.

But the biggest test was politics. I knew many would not give me the chance. I was in the AMP helping with messaging the party when Jude Connors gave me a chance I took it. I moved to the newly created USMJ. I worked on behalf of the party. I helped build it. I spent time on the forums. I helped get members elected. I was then trusted enough to get elected to Congress. I have now been in 4 terms. I have been very active in trying to help with many items. And not once have I done anything to hurt the country. If I wanted to I could have let in any number of blacklisted citizens. But I did not. The best day was when I told Jude I hope I am proving I am trustworthy. And he responded with you have proven it 10x over.



Since then I have worked harder to atone and prove through my actions. I now have quotes from a number of respected citizens. Why are these important? Because I would never dare harm these people by hurting the eUS. The quotes are not endorsements but speak to my character or the players feelings on my campaign. I just want to run our party. But I am afraid that there are people looking to get back at Jude, at me, and the USMJ. For the stand he took in creating it, I took for my vote on censure, and petty political motivations.

I wish Jude was still in the game so he could say something. But he is not. But I know as well as the other party members know he would endorse me. So I am not asking for you to join the party. But I am asking for you to let our party decide. Just like any other party would. If there is a pto by anyone I would ask you to move and vote for me. If your party is telling you to come vote here ask yourself whether you would want that to happen to your party.
