HellO! And welcome to number #1 of the new look UK Today!





On the 25th it is the Congress Elections, and as seeing it is our last article before these elections it's best we prepared you with all the information you need to know now otherwise it'll be too late. We are again under threat from a potential Political Take Over (PTO) which, if successful, could really ruin our summer. On the 25th do not log on and go "ooh, he's in my party I'll vote him", we've all done it but at this very moment it's rather unsafe. As before with the Party Presidential elections if you have the time please join the IRC Channel #UK.ATO and get directions on who to vote for from there. If you don't have the time, send a message to either your Party President or the man in the swively chair. If it comes down to it that you really do not have the time and you can only get onto Erepublik once a day, vote for an official candidate from your party. The lists of official candidates will be updated as they are released, so check he regularly to find them.

In the last article we mentioned something about newspaper awards that we'd be giving out. We'll be starting off the awards with one, yes, one. So who is this very luck person? Drum roll please Beta... And the winner is.... Gambit8 with his now award winning Newspaper, the Gambit Lowdown!
