[UKGov] Royalty and Economics

Day 1,270, 16:16 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by eUK Home Office
This is an announcement from the Ministry of Home Affairs, please vote and subscribe.

We have two parts to the announcement today- a light hearted look at the Royalist culture of the eUK to begin, followed by some information on the changes to the economic module.

Royalty In The eUK
Greetings fellow British commoners, today I have the great honour of bestowing upon your unworthy persons a message from our great and glorious monarch King Woldy the Thirst.
In his bounteous wisdom he has appointed a new political and social elite to tower above and oppress our pathetic little lives. He has called them Llords (apparently the double L makes them sound more distinguished). His Majarsey hath given my good self a brief paragraph (two lines) outlining his vision for this oh so glorious thing:

“The role of this house it to keep checks and balances on all activity of the eUK as a social community, including (but not limited too) it's faggotry, trolling, warfare, politics and overall joviality.”
(You didn’t expect detail did you?)

So mere mortals, when you see these people approach cower like the no good sack of cells that you are. FOR YOU ARE NOT WORTHY.

Llort Zakharov - Llord of Space and Time

Mr. Woldy - Llord of the Dance

John Forseti - Lord High Arbiter of Justice

Dishmcds - Llord Abacus the Irrational

Joachim von Bremen - Sir Bremen The Snaketongued

Indiekid - Llord Snow of Unknown Parentage

Vadigor - Llord Protector of the Realm, Ireland, Scotland and Great Britain by the Grace of Llort and Republik

Gav Miller - Sir Gareth, Champion of Ireland

Elle Roslin - Dame Elle of Roslin, Llady of Everlasting Beauty

Daeres - Thane Daeres, Tamer of Tigers and Lleopards

Oric von Lichtenstein - Llord of the Rings

Tomazim - Sir Irebane the Unknown

The_Grump - Last Llord of Scotland

A fine and upstanding bunch I think you’ll agree and if you do not agree…TREASON!

Now let us all take this next week to dance and celebrate the life of our Glorious King and remember how utterly insignificant and common we commoners actually are.

And now for something completely different.

Economic Changes

The new changes to the game mark a simplified economic system, with a much stronger capacity for individual players to amass their own wealth. Obviously, the higher up the ladder RM companies are, the more resources they will provide, and you will also find you can employ an unlimited number of people. Raw Materials now have 5 different levels of company, as seen below:

New company levels with their basic production rate

There are two economic areas now; food and weapons. There are only now only food raw materials, and weapons raw materials being processed by RM companies. Moving Tickets, Hospitals and Defence systems are now in the final stages of the admins removing them from the game, and can be converted into weapons companies in line with the new economic module.

The obvious impact that this new system will have is overproduction, with an already noted fall in the price of RM costs since yesterday. This will have an effect on manufacturers, with the value of weapons and food dropping with the materials that made them.

Overproduction may cause some higher levels of unemployment, but we’re still waiting

One great benefit of the new module, however, is that you will personally be able to amass a great deal of wealth simply by the acquisition of companies and working in them as a manager. With a few RM companies, a food company to process what you make – and selling the surplus; you can easily self-fund yourself for hitting in battles and increasing your rank.
