I woke feverish.
Disorientated, and with great hair.
The eGod of knowing-stuff had gave me a vision of an island overrun by not-knowing-stuff people.
So I login'd, magnificently, to my account to write this article.

Points which I shall cover:
1) "Why don't we give the UK Wexford, instead of Dublin?"
2) "What we doing in Sweden, why have we lost Scotland and why aren't we fighting in Nordjylland?"
3) "Why is there an apparent problem with communication?"



Question No.1

Easy answer: Because then eIreland would have ZERO regions connected to our Capital.

Original settings

Take note that Dublin is only connected to Louth and Wexford. Dublin being the capital (the region which the rest of our regions need to be connected too in order to get our bonuses), giving Louth and Wexford to the UK would result in this:


In order for this to happen, the UK would have attacked Wexford and then Louth - meaning Dublin would still be our country's capital. This would eliminate routes to other Irish regions, and give us only 1 weapon bonus.

The current deal looks like this:


Due to Dublin being conquered, Cork (or where ever with the highest population) would become the capital and we remain fully connected to our other regions. This set up would obviously be the most desirable compared to the one which gets us no bonuses. However, before someone points it out, yes Cork is the new capital so if we regained Dublin, and gave them Wexford.. Cork would still be connected (unless I'm mistaken that it doesnt reset to the capital). However, Dublin is our only other Iron region if Wexford was swapped - so we'd lose out on our original weapon bonus because then Wexford and Louth would be blocking Dublin from the rest of our regions.



Question No.2

What I know: We're an EDEN nation, Sweden are ONE. Irish Citizens wanted NE

On the 21st - Denmark declared a Natural Enemy
On the 22nd - NE passes, and Ireland attacks Nordjylland, Denmark:

On the 23rd - Ireland successfully conquers Nordjylland.
Nothing happens til the 27th (perhaps due to two false NE proposals delaying): When Nordjylland comes under RW attack, and a NE proposal on Sweden starts.
On the 28th - Ireland attacks Scania, Sweden:

On the 29th - Ireland successfully conquers Scania

Thats the story so far.
We have got ourselves into Sweden - what else we going to do there?
I will update when either: We do something cool or we get kicked out - will get an article out in the next few days.

The government has orders to ignore Nordy, which basically means "We're not going to try and keep it". Perhaps the government wants to close the region which would lead to our mainland should the battle with Sweden turn in their favour? A safety measure maybe. Or maybe they just like Denmark.

Either way, Fight hard in Sweden!



Question 3

In my last article I basically showed one reason why people might have missed the news of the region swaps because those causing all the fuss suffer from AMNESIA! Or maybe they just wanna cause a fuss, and drain Irish damage away from our EDEN orders? ONE can only guess.

However, these issues are often complex.. so I have investigated again! :3

It has become clear that not all suffer from Amnesia. It seems selective blindness to the unbolded is also another epidemic sweeping the nation! 😮
