eRepublik is a big place, with many opportunities and paths to take. But the beginning may seem overwhelming to some; complex, confusing, hard. This comprehensive guide will show what you need to do in your early stages to ensure success for your future.

Day One:

One of the first things you should do I find a job. You can find a job by going to “Job Market” under the “Market” tab. For more information on jobs, check out our guide on working. When you apply for a job for the first time, you receive 5 experience points (EP or XP for short). You work by going to the “Company” page under “My Places” tab and clicking “work”. After every time you work, you gain one EP. So, after the above two tasks, you will have 6 EP, which brings you up to Level 2.

At level 2 you can train. You train by clicking “Training Grounds” under the “My Places” tab and then chose the “Standard Training” button. Do not try to use the “Advanced Training” options, as you do not have gold (and perhaps you want to save up once you obtain gold). Every time you train, you gain two EP but lose one wellness.

It is imperative you buy food when everyday to maintain your wellness. You start off at 100, and it is everyone’s aim to keep 100 wellness. Now that you have done the essentials, upload an avatar. For the first time you upload an avatar, you gain 2 EP, meaning that you now have 10 experience points, bringing you up to Level 3.

At Level 3 you have the ability to fight. HOWEVER, DO NOT FIGHT YET! First, check the region you are in. If you are living in London, you can fight. On the home page, if a fight is available, it will say under “Latest Events”. After fighting, use the Q5 hospital (fight 5 times, heal, and DO NOT fight again). If you are not living in London DO NOT fight until another day, as your region does not have a hospital, and you cannot move yet.

Day Two:

Three experience points can be received today, one from working and the other two from training. Don’t forget to buy food.

Now that you have begun settling in with the most essential stuff, you should become more aware of what is going on. Newspapers can provide the information you need. While you cannot create a newspaper until Level 8, subscribe to the following government newspapers:

Ministry of Defence
Ministry of Home Affairs
National Newspaper Association
UK Press Office
The Prime Minister

Day Three:

Be sure to move to London!

Depending on what time of the day you applied for a job, you can quit your job to find a better paying job do to your higher skill. Remember to apply for a job that is under your skill type (land, manufacturing or construction). Work, train and buy food.

Assuming you started outside of London, you will now have 16 EP. This means you are now at Level 4. This gives you the ability to move. If you are living out of London, contact the Ministry of Home Affairs for a moving ticket. To move, go to your “Profile” under “My Places” and click “Change” under the location section. Then move to United Kingdom, London. This move will cause you to lose 2 wellness, but you will be able to fight. How to fight is mentioned under Day One. Fighting 5 times means you will gain 10 EP (2 per fight). Now, every day you can gain up to 13 EP. However, it should be noted that a battle might not be available every single day.

Day Four:

With a total of 29 EP, you are now at Level 5. Level 5 means you can use as many invitations to invite everyone you know (so we can make a stronger eUnited Kingdom!). Fight, Work, Train, buy food. These are the basics that should be done. And now with a potential 43 EP, you have reached Level 6 (35 EP) and Level 7 (40 EP).

Level 6 is perhaps one of the most important levels, as you gain the ability to vote. Voting is a very important part of eRepublik. To briefly go over, there are three types of voting: Congressional, Party President and Prime Minister. These are held every 25th, 15th, and 5th respectively. For every time you vote, you gain one EP. You can find more info by reading this guide on voting.

You also will gain a Treasure Map for achieving Level 6. This gives you the opportunity to receive an unknown amount of gold. The average is around 5 gold, but if you are lucky, you could receive 40+ gold.

Level 7 gives you the ability to join a political party. You can join a party by going to “Party” under the “My Places” tab. Joining a party gives you the ability to vote during the Party President elections, run for Congress (once you reach Level 12) and become part of the party’s community.

Day Five:

Now that you are more adjusted to the flow of the daily tasks (fight, work, train, buy food), it is time to make a step further into the community. Join the eUK Forums. The eUK Forums is where much of what happens takes place. For more information on the forums, read this article.

While at this point you could have less or more (depending on battles and elections), we shall assume you have 56 EP. This means you can create your own newspapers. Newspapers cost 2 gold, and are used by politicians for making manifestoes, or anyone else who is out to make themselves known. Topics for newspaper articles can cover just about everything, but try to keep things eRepublik related (in most cases, people don’t like it when someone writes an article on real life stuff).

Day Six:

By now, you most likely have reached Level 9. At this level, you can create your own company. However, you companies cost 20 gold to make, and then you need plenty of money for wages and raw materials (unless you create a land company). Also, most people who create a company create it through their organisation (which you can create at Level 11). So, do not buy a company at this point. But even in the future when you have the funds, it still is risky creating a company. Don’t forget to fight, work, train and buy food.

Day Seven:

Your first week is soon completed. Needless to say, as surely you know by now, fight, work, train and buy food. You can buy other items, but it is recommended you gain more strength before buying weapons. A house helps with wellness but can be very expensive. Gifts improve wellness if you are 99 or below, but you cannot buy them for yourself to use.

The future!

Your ability to survive should be stabalised by this point. If you have made it this far, the future looks bright. Will you become an entrepreneur? A military leader? The Prime Minister? Imagine the possibilities that await you.
