[Loathing] Feeding, with spoons...

... and that ain't a good thing!

Thankfully, even though I've been away with work and not able to campaign directly myself, my army of loyal supporters hit the campaign trail for me. My long time friend Winnie releasing an excellent overview of my character, while everyone's favourite eUKer, Horice (4CP) published a fantastic set of reasons why voting Wayne on the 5th is the right thing to do.

Truth be told, I couldn't give a monkeys about being CP. It's never been a position I've aimed for. Believe it or not, I've never been a Party President, the only times I've ever held an in game position with added buttons is in the first MU tournament when DC went and tanked hard for Team GB and my 6 times in Congress, with 4 of those being gained by my PP directly asking me to run.

Personally, I don't believe in a Governance of the type the other three candidates are seemingly offering us. A top down approach to leading has never been my style. A bottom up, self regulating style is more my cup of tea, after all its an opened ended game and our play styles can be very different. Some people want to play via the forums and have red tape restricting their freedoms. To them I say, set it up, play by the 'legislation' you choose to impose on yourself, but don't try to impose it on the rest of us. Likewise, those of you who do everything 'in game' and consider yourselves 'non role-players' should understand that playing purely by game mechanics may not be to everyone's taste, but if thats how you derive your fun, then carry on.

One thing we should be doing though is recognising ourselves more as eUK, rather then the separate entities that make up our little part of the map on eRep. Our parties and MU's are nothing more little clubhouses to break up a large number of players into smaller, more manageable and cohesive groups. Google Dunbars number... The past 20 months I've been playing we have seen groups of players trying to 'take control' of the eUK. Trying to force through a particular style of play. There has been only one exception, last month.

Last month saw the eUK take a massive risk, even Wook would admit you lot gambled, when you gamble there is only two outcomes and we won. Last month saw the emergence of a different style. One we should be fully embracing. A collective responsibility. It even got the thumbs up from Iain Keers in his article here, those that know me, those that have worked alongside me, know that that pretty much sums up how I and DC have always played this game...

We ain't here to spoon feed you.

Those that will have some role in the Wayne Government will be.

Minister of Orgs: Emergy Maxfell.

Emergy is boss! So pretty much what he says with regards to our eUK orgs and the goodies contained inside of them will be that. Emergy will pick his own team and access to any orgs, including my own access, will be subject to his approval and his only.

MU Orgs are not Government property as such, so will remain unchanged. I will however, be looking into who is in control of the British Army MU org.

Minister of Speaking Formally to Forigs: mittekemuis.

Mitte is known the world over, she is respected the world over and she ain't stupid. Pretty much three great reasons why she should be in charge of talking to forigs...

Minister of Trying to Keep Us Unwiped: mwcerberus.

A personal friend of mine, everyone's favourite 'PTOer', the highest ranking 'No Lifer' in DC and someone, who only his enemies have a bad word to say about, mwc. He has done a blinding job in keeping us unwiped so far, so will be give free reign once again to keep us unwiped.

Minister of Keeping Me on the Straight and Narrow: CptChazbeard.

Contrary to popular belief, my old mucker Chaz, ain't no joke. The only man, in my opinion that can carry on from the Wook legacy and the person that should be running instead of me. Chaz is a rare creature in eUK and we are blessed to have him.

Why so small Wayne?

...It's cold, it's normally bigger than this, I swear!

So small, because it does everything I need it to do. No deputies are mentioned because I have no say in who my ministers pick to work alongside them. We can all write guides, or write informative articles for the public, nothing stops anyone from holding a quiz or providing other means of entertainment for the masses.

So vote for Wayne if you wanna live get involved with the eUK more, or vote for the others if you'd prefer to go back to being spoon fed, you lazy fecks!
