[Feds] Fire in our Bellies...

Hello Feds.

Today our party opened nominations for our next Party President, and I would like to take a moment to express my interest in the position, and give you a little background as to why.



Our party is sitting at a supposed pinnacle. We have more members than ever, we are electing more congress members than ever, and Feds are dominating the cabinets of every Presidential hopeful in the eUS. We have also seen a huge influx of older, more experienced players joining our party. These are, of course, great things for our party, but over the last few months I personally have felt that something is missing. We’ve lost something that we used to have, and it took me quite a while to put my finger on it…..

Hunger



We’ve become complacent. We have fallen into the illusion that what we did yesterday will be good enough for today. We’ve stopped striving, stopped pushing, we’ve lost our hunger for greatness.

As many of you know, I’ve been a part of this party for quite a while. I joined in February of 2012, and have been involved in the party in one form or another ever since. In that time, I’ve seen the members of this party do great things. We worked our way from an insecure 5th place spot, all the way to being THE dominant party in the eUnited States. We did this on the backs of truly epic Feds. Those who put in countless hours to make sure that this party could function at the absolute highest level, and who were never satisfied with stagnation.



That drive, that conviction, is what we need to re-inject into our party. To that ends, I present you with a few ideas for the upcoming month:

-Increasing the variety of party activities for members (This includes forum, IRC, and ingame)

-Increasing our membership to 800

-Churning out consistent, effective media

-Assisting in any necessary ATO efforts, in order to thwart the AFA

-Running the absolute best congressional candidates available

-Creating more party jobs for members who would like to help out

This is just a taste of what I would like to do in the next month, and along with the Fed Leadership, I would do everything in my power to accomplish them. I love this party more than any of you may realize, and for that reason, I’m asking you to help me put the fire back in our collective belly.

I don’t want our party to be great….I want it to be legendary.
