Party President Elections

PP elections are in a few days and ESO has 3 very well known players in the ESO community who have put their names down for the PP position. These are Sir Jimmy Savile, Frixios2000 and Aleksandar.V Popovic.

Hopefully I will be able to bring you interviews with the 3 hopefuls. But here is some background on the candidates.

Sir Jimmy Savile



'Jimmy' a guy dedicated to democracy. He changed his name to Sir Jimmy Savile following a public vote in one of his articles for goodness sake. I can't imagine he had Sir Jimmy in mind when he open the vote on his new name, but he stuck to his word so good for him. He has been PP of ESO before and you have probably seen some of his articles in the media before, even if you haven't realised it.


Aleksandar.V Popovic



Aleks has been the CP of the UK and is well known of his interactions with feeds (spamming my alerts inbox, which I love btw). He is experienced and like Sir Jimmy he listens to others and adapts to the advice of others like all good liberals do when presented with facts. He is also a well known writer despite English not being his first language (respect to you), although he hasn't been active in the media recently.


Frixios2000



Frixios is a relatively new member of ESO but he has all the activity and desire for a better future that ESO and the UK needs. He is well known for his policy ideas and is very active in the media. He has already published his manifeto for ESO PP here. (I will add the other candidates manifesto's when they are out.) When I said above Aleks and Jimmy listen to advice of others, that doesn't mean to say Frix doesn't but they have a history of doing so in ESO, whereas a new face like Frix hasn't had as much opportunity to do so. He is another regular on the ESO feed and hopefully more people will join ESO like Frix to keep the energy levels in this party high and carry policies forward and maybe even get ESO into the top5.

How it works

1) Buy a ticket. Each ticket has a number on it.
2) Wait.
3) A random number generator will be used to generate a number.



If your number is chosen you win the prize.


What is the prize?

Q1 houses should be owned by everyone as anyone that works 7 times a week can make a profit and gains additional energy by having one. A Q1 house allows you 7 extra works a week. If you are earning 50 CC per work that is a weekly earning of 700 CC instead of 350 CC! So to increase awareness of the benefits of houses we will be giving away a Q1 house to the winner.


How much is a ticket?

After consideration each ticket is 5 CC. The consideration was 'we want to generate enough money from the raffle to pay for the next weeks prize', but was also: 'we want every single UKer to be able to afford to take part'.


To enter

Send Max Blue 5 CC x how many tickets you want. Endorsements also count. The 25 CC endorse = 5 tickets, the 10 = 2 tickets and the 5 = 1.
