[CP] Boy oh boy, what a month!

Day 4,521, 05:56 Published in Netherlands Netherlands by Het Catshuis

Greetings citizens of the eNetherlands,

as the end of times... err, term approaches, it it good to capitulate... errr... summarize, what has been going on in past few days or weeks, and if the election results can be trusted, what can we expect during the next term as well. The hope is that unlike last few terms, no additional surprises will appear to ruin my plans again!

- We have started the month with operation in the UK, which was also promptly ended during the same month as well due to CODE being very invested in getting back into the UK. More on that can be found here:

https://www.erepublik.com/en/article/-cp-operation-sleeping-soul-2714572/1/20

- We have reorganized our Training Wars (again) in a way, which we hope to keep up unchanged for the next term. The current battle orders look like this (in case of any changes we will of course inform you via our traditional means):

- We have lost our concessions with Canada, due to CODE hostilities in the area. We hope these concessions will eventually resume back (because given the fact, how dumb of a resource is Sand, there are not many other nations interested in it) - if they will not, we will be thinking about some alternatives, how to keep our usual level of concession income.

- We had some fun with new "program" called The Week of Daily Orders, and I personally plan for these to continue, as long as Plato continues with his "Stay at Home" challenge. More on that here:

- We have found out some new potential commune holders, because the necessity of building new Q7 state factories is still high with the cost of The Green Beret Program growing due to our citizens getting stronger. While no official signings have been done as of yet, I expect this to come into play in the next few terms.

- We got Henry Ackerman back!

- And in the end, we had quite of an event - we have received an invitation from alliance called Hydra, which we have decided to pursue, and which was also just recently approved by our Congress (well, the first half of it, because these alliance laws come in multiple packaging). While it means we will no longer be able to be part of our current alliance Orion, it certainly does not mean we abandon our Orion friends, and we will keep in touch with them and help them, if the need arises. Expect some more talk about it, once the entire thing is finalized in in-game votes - for now read, what actually is Hydra here:

As for the next term, we would like to keep things a bit more relaxed, due to the last few eventful terms, and due to growing RL concerns, which occupy the minds of many of us. So what does it mean?

Eh... not really, since there are still few more things to do. Sorting out the Housing Program, for which people do not like to fill easy forms. Keep you in touch with world events. Or something my ministers have called Ministerie van Nederlandse Voorlichting, which should be an interesting sidestep from the usual slideshow of governmental articles of Week 69 and Rental Concession Return No. 420.
