INVESTING IN GOLD

Gold is used for many different reasons in the eRepublik such as upgrading your company, buying health packets, building up your strength, etc... Gold should also be used for investment purposes as well. Gold has been around since the beginning of eRepublik and has been as low as $60 per Gold… Gold at the moment is hovering around $1000 per Gold at the moment. Imagine if were buying and hording gold at $60 and it all this time without selling it… let’s say you’re up to 2000 gold… cash it in and you’d have a whopping $2 million dollars! Gold is generally overall a safe investment. It will go up and down over time, but if you look at the overall graph it rises steadily.

SHORT TERM INVESTMENT

On the Monetary Market there are always people selling their gold, and if you check it frequently enough like I do you’ll notice there are low ball offers. Many times the lowest gold is $20 cheaper than the next gold for sale. To make a quick buck buy up the gold that’s $20 Cheaper and sell it for $19 more. This way here you are still the cheapest and it will sell within a few min of posting an offer. Buy 5 pieces of gold and sell it for $19 more you just made $95 in a few min time. If you do this enough you can make yourself a few hundred dollars a day. Note that you are only able to buy 10 gold per day. This is a quick way to make some money and not to become rich overnight with the 10 gold limit per day. But if you do this daily a few extra $100 bucks is nice.

Also, be aware to know what the market is doing that day. You might buy on a day where gold is at its peak, and it may be going down for a time and you might get stuck with the gold and have to wait longer to make your money back. You may even have to sell it for a loss if you need the cash right away. If you don’t need the money right away you can always hold onto it and wait a few days or weeks and make your money back though.

LONG TERM INVESTMENT

I like to always buy some gold daily that I hold onto it and not sell. I like to buy at least .15 gold per day that I don’t touch and just keep. I like to keep the gold in my account and know that I won’t sell or spend a certain amount of gold. Gold will always rise and I know that 6 months from now Gold will be around $1400 and if I buy it now I’ll be saving myself $400 every time I would be buying it in the future. Buying gold is like putting your money in the bank and earning interest.

How much cash do you really need at a time? Figure out how much cash you need to pay your employees daily, buy materials, guns, food, other investment money such as buying gold short term and selling etc… then have a few extra $1000 for a cushion. Then invest the rest in Gold. Then continue to buy gold daily, but maintain your daily cash flow. If you ever need cash just sell whatever gold you need! Long term investment in gold there really is almost no way to lose money here, just how long before you get your money back.

GOLD FUTURES

Now you can mix long term investment and short term investment and predict how high gold will go in the upcoming weeks. Let’s say you’re studying gold and notice it’s rising at a rate of about $15 per week. Now by knowing this you can buy gold today at about $1000 and put up an offer for $1045 and know that in about one month you’ll sell your gold and make $45 per gold in one month’s time. You can also by gold daily and keep posting gold for sale for $1045 and when that day comes you may have 20 gold for sale by the time it sells and you could make yourself quite a bit of money in one month’s time. The actual payout will depend on what kind of deals you get on the market and how much you can invest and how long it will take for the price to hit $1045.

GOLD PRICES AROUND THE WORLD

Now gold prices around the world differ by how the country’s economy is doing. Since every country’s economy is different, gold prices are going to vary country by country. By watching several country’s gold prices you can invest in buying gold in many different markets and can make money in short term, long term, and gold future investing. Since gold is universal you can always get back to your original country’s currency.

Starting out you should begin with your original country’s gold market. Then start studying another country’s gold prices and start making small investments so you don’t get burned and lose a lot of cash. Once you get the hang of two countries start looking into another and another… The best countries to invest in gold are countries with large populations. More people, more gold trading going on.

Don’t invest more than you can lose. Don’t put all your eggs in one basket – don’t pick one method of gold investing, diversify your portfolio for a greater rate of return. Remember, Gold is generally a safe investment, you can almost always get your money back, just a matter of how long it will take.
