Congress elections are just around the corner and at Spam HQ we thought we would kick things off with a look at what your support for TRS has meant in the month gone, and what it will mean in the month ahead.





What you got

TRS remains the most active and important voting bloc in Congress. Not only that but TRS’s support for several initiatives that will encourage activity and community ensured the passing of several funding pots for eUK citizens to get support from.

I’m also proud to add that TRS members have been actively engaged in several discussions on various topics, and have secured government u-turns on the misguided idea of having a TW with a country that we really shouldn’t be engaging with. TRS have also taken a strong stance to unequivocally censure the vice Country President for sending players abuse (it has been a shameful week for community and common decency in eUK’s congress).

So not only a month in which we have had to stand up for what is best for the eUK, but one in which we have also had to stand up for basic etiquette morals. It is disappointing that some people have forgotten it is a game, and that the President hasn’t stepped in to assert the kind of values that would make the eUK a nice place to play erep.





What you’ll get

Well I can tell you three precise things voting for TRS will get you before the we get onto the broader themes:

-New Players in Congress. We offered the two top slots on our Congress list to new and engaged players and we’re thrilled that one of them has been taken up by Pax!

-A State of the nation discussion! TRS will launch a debate on the state of the nation, similar to our Epics Debate to allow a forum for Congressmen to discuss how things are going, what is and isn’t working and how we can help.

-Standing up to the nonsense. Whilst more TUP’ers are getting involved in debates there remain pockets of Congressmen who wish to get a medal, and either do nothing or disrupt the best intentions of others. We are gonna keep on doing us - making sure Congress uses its buttons for the good of the eUK and making sure the public are represented.

You probably know the rest by now! We invest in activity and want to see our party members and Congressmen engaged in discussions and with the game. We don’t take your votes for granted and vanish after election day, and most of all we will question why and make sure we are clicking on our buttons when it is in the interests of the eUK, not just because ‘we have always done it’.





This has been a month that’s seen some people choose to intimidate rather than persuade. Our last appeal to you is that when you vote on the 25th you consider what approach you are endorsing. If you want to endorse civil conversation and an engaged player base, then vote TRS. Up the Spamnaissance!
