PM XG Annoucnment and Promise Recap
Xavier Griffith
As many of you have probably heard, I’m running for a Second Term as Australia’s Prime Minister. This has occurred due to requests from the Party, requests from eAustralian Friends and also requests from some of the International Friends I have made during my term this month.
Its close now to the close of my current term and I wanted to take this opportunity to rehash what I had planned to do as my January Election Promises and tick off those that have been achieved, those that have not and why, and those that I didn’t get to and why.
I try to keep my election promises, but things come up where you can’t or need to change direction. It happens we all expect them if you have been in the CP role, but I’m at least honest enough to explain my actions or lack of to the people that elected me so here you are:
The Parliament
1. Constant Information flow to the Senate; - ACHIEVED
2. Where possible, constant weekly thread with information about what is going on as a special Cabinet Thread in the Forum to allow Senate to receive updated information on anything Cabinet related all in one place. – ACHIEVED Set up but generally done in public as well as being used there.
3. Information in the Department of Information Newspaper, sent out weekly where possible, outlining what has
occurred and to keep the people apprised of what is occurring. – ACHIEVED
4. The ability for any member of the Senate to ask direct questions of the Prime Minister in PM at any time with
a timely answer if it is available at the time. – ACHIEVED
Foreign Affairs
1. Within the first week of election I will create a discussion thread on the forums for the people to discuss a full
move and application to CoT; - SEMI-ACHIEVED The senate voted on it to be sent to a referendum, however the Indonesian Issue froze it for the moment
2. At the end of that week, a referendum will occur on the forums, to ensure that only Australian Citizens are voting in it and not non-Australian Citizens, so if you do not have a Forum account, I recommend you sign up for one as soon as possible to ensure your voice and vote on this important issue is heard (even if you never use it again after that). - SEMI-ACHIEVED The senate voted on it to be sent to a referendum, however the Indonesian Issue froze it for the moment
3. Continue to work with Chile and find a trusting solution to any issues we may still have and should a Treaty be
approved prior to the CP election, I commit to ensure that all parts of the agreement are kept. –ACHIEVED The Treaty was resigned and Australia kept to the Treaty as it was, we did not break it once while Chile broke it 3 times, which we allowed it to slide due to relations between our nation
4. MPP stack will move to a more pro-CoT stack should the public agree in the referendum that is our way
forward. - SEMI-ACHIEVED The senate voted on it to be sent to a referendum, however the Indonesian Issue froze it for the moment
5. If agreed by the public in the referendum a full move to CoT membership will be made. – NOT ACHIEVED This was not achieved because of the Indonesian Issue stopping our MPP stack from growing
The Military and the ADF
There are several issues that will need to be looked at in regard to this, so I can commit to no serious promises on this,
but it will be one of the first things that will be looked at should I win election, and I will be looking at:
1. The structure of the ADF
2. The Nation’s MUs and their incorporation into Government funding
3. The supply of extremely limited resources to both New people that join the ADF
4. The supply of extremely limited cash resources to our MUs should they wish to become Government Funded.
5. The ability of the DoD to work with both fields, a fully Government supported ADF and partially funded MUs.
This review process and proposal will be reviewed and the best options worked out. If the decision is to leave it as it currently operates or be changed, the Act will be presented to the Senate when ready.
– ACHIEVED The review was a great success, which bought out several options for us to look at. The full writing up of the recommendations is still in the works, but we gained a lot of information from the review we didn’t have before. Unfortunately one of the main issues that came up was the major lack of funding we currently have to allow us to achieve some of the recommendations.

Xavier Griffith

I wad going to run if you didn't XG. We must ensure Australia keeps moving forward out of the dangerous hands of Tim Holtz.
^you're funny Infin. At least Tim knows the job he's taken on and is respected by all of our allies. The same can't be said of this government and the miscreants within. Now the reason for your recent buttering up to ancient enemies is now showing.
Tim is not respected by our allies TJ... I mean Mick Gatto, they consider him a dweeb who keeps trying to stick his nose where it doesn't belong.
Infin... I think XG is the same. We heard you didn't want to run so he had to.
We all know what happens if Holtz wins, and obviously TJ has a stake in it too which makes it more important to ensure that travesty never occurs.
One more thing - one of our major allies this government has tried to get hairy with this term doesn't agree with you on that. As far as the lay of the land goes, the only people who want this government are the people who voted for it. Going by our population, that's a far cry from an international qualification.
Before you get caught trying to play that card Larni I've already made it clear to Tim and I'm happy to state in openness and transparency, things you don't agree with, that I won't be in the next government. The next government requires players better than you and me. As for Louise Brooks @ DoFA - that's like appointing Carl Williams as head of the Drug Enforcement Agency.
Nice work XG - good to see another term to consolidate our gains this month.
^ Consolidate what gains, Venja? I read your Finance Report. TL😉R - our country is broke
I said we'd have 4 months ( http://www.erepublik.com/en/article/finance-alert-budget-spending-level-can-only-sustain-4-more-until-broke-2153204/1/20).
Turns out Larni's wisdom of "wait until the next government" didn't pan out, as was expected and forewarned against - but successive governments still went ahead and raised the ceiling. Majester's suggestion on what was budgeted vs. what was expended went amiss somewhere as it did indeed appear the allocations were spent somewhere. Last but not least - I was wrong on the timing. It took less than 4 months.
If it wasn't for Ranger injecting his personal funds to stimulate the Treasury, we'd have zero'd out our cash on hand last term.
Top-notch, disciplined governance right there. Great work everyone \o/ .. Closet high-spending Labor fgts
hey ARP, good job on giving EVERYONE a fair chance.
XG only thing you achieved is wording it around so it seems like you did anything. Your a joke, eAUS getting into CoT now will be harder then before. What friends? You talked with a few CP's that will NOT be CP's next term.
Senate forums have been quieter then ever this term including cabin. There was nothing new realized, all you did was tell us what we already knew. You have done NOTHING this term. Your whole term was behind closed doors. Everything you did was only discussed with a select few.
We the PEOPLE had no say in anything. So much for "listening to us".
Get lost.
You staying as CP will get us wiped, but you know what, run again. Id live to see what you will say then. We will all watch and laugh as you and the ARP squeal foul play and start tossing the blame around. Hopefully next few months the option to kick people out of a country will come.
And trust me, i wont be the 1st one to go.
It will be a relief when Xavier Griffith is elected CP, Australia is in a critical situation and will need the guidance of someone with skill & maturity.
Typical government arrogance. No respect for the electorate they already think they've won it. LOL this is going to be sweet!
@icetek, you mad bro?
😁 LuLz
I think my internet personality is always "mad"
"need the guidance of someone with skill & maturity."
WHAT SKILL!!!!! lmao....
Maturity anyone can fake, XG is as mature as the pimple on my butt. This game needs a peoples person. Not some clown who goes around bragging "im a old player who knows it all" NiGz plz.
He has more American in him then me...fml
😁
He mad WageSlave, trouble is he is barking at the moon mad
😁
Thank you for caring about my feelings. But im good, maybe stay on topic when something is said to you instead of running away from it.
Your a sheep pretending to be a wolf Louise. Your nobody here, you had you little up moment from being senator and Larni giving you a tap on the back, too bad your a follower tho, you aim to please others. Shame.
What the hell is TJ going on about? Oh TJ.. um.. Mick Gatto, Tim says he kicked you from his proposed cabinet not the other way around so you might want to sort out.
Aww Icetek, still throwing the temper tanty?
"If it wasn't for Ranger injecting his personal funds to stimulate the Treasury, we'd have zero'd out our cash on hand last term." that is true TJ but it would have been the month before... Ranger spent a buttload of RL cash....
Oh God forgive me, I hate to agree with Icetek.
Its a matter of like attracting like Lany.
Truely you should start seeking professional help
Icetek has a multiple personality disorder. Ignore him.
You would think that with all the personalities he is afflicted with - some would be sort of reasonable?
@larni
is that it.....a little insult....
i think your too scared to go 1 on 1 with me, id destroy you like a toothpick. ill let you pass on with your little insults since i see you don't even try to denie what i say. id hate for you to end up like binda33, running around talking about threatening kids.
leave it to aussies to twist words. but then again your twisted in the head.
@Mick Gatto
You really are pissing me off with your bullshit. You clearly don't know the first thing about the eAus economy with the way you are speaking, especially when it comes to the reserves we have available. Quit spinning your bullshit and shut the hell up if you have no idea what the hell you are talking about, and just plainly making stuff up. We are not, nor have we been broke in the last 6 months while I have been in deputy positions 3 time in the DoF so I KNOW how much money we have and have had over this time. I don't know specifically about ranger injecting funds as I was not in that term, but it wouldn't have been necessary with the shape the treasury balance is. If the treasury is where you are getting all your figures from, then your are a bigger fool than Icetek. We have many different places to keep our money.
And icetek:
IT'S YOU'RE! Learn to spell you twit. You might be able to beat people up in RL to get what you want, but you sure couldn't win a spelling bee! All brawn, no brains clearly
Icey child, said it before and I will say it again. You simply are not important enough to register on my radar of give a damn.
lol Mick
Mick, sue me. When spelling incorrectly becomes a crime you can yap all you want. See "bro" my life is too easy to worry about spelling. I'll let you think about that for a second what it could mean.
Larni, if I'm not important to be on this "radar" why are you replying back to me? I think your radar is broken anyway. Just how your acting like a broken record now. Same thing over and over and over.......wait for it...................and over.
@Infin
hey little one, i almost missed your comment there. the little chi-wa-wa decided to bark again. Dont play with the big dogs infin, you might get stepped on again.
Icetek is obsessed with me as he mentions my name in every article somewhere. lol
