eNZ Government Funds Foreign Militias... Again
Spud of Doom
Funding of individual foreign soldiers has been explained to be as of this morning, but I still maintain that there needs to be more clarity about where this is happening and who is funding it.
No, this isn't about the government donation to Brazilian militia elite CAT (Which EDIT: has been explained and resolved now, but in a non-public document) or about government funded donations of 14000NZD to citizen Loader without explanation or about the government funded (19500NZD) organisation Archangel Foundation supplying at least 12 foreign soldiers during the Slovenian battles last week (and more of these foreigners are still being supplied by the AAF and/or MoD), just go check their donation lists:
NZ Mo
😨http://economy.erepublik.com/en/accounts/4196653
Archangel Foundation: http://economy.erepublik.com/en/accounts/4019344
And before people try to tell me that AAF was also used to fund NZers, I find it hard to believe the 19500NZD of government funding was all spent in one day on about 30-40 NZ citizens, can you? That's easily 500NZD per person.
The main focus of this article is regarding some particularly large donations to citizen account Koska de STRAH of SEVEN HUNDRED GOLD by the Central Bank of eNZ, who then decided it would be a good idea to send ninety gold to Srpski Korpus GS - a supply account of one of eRepublik's largest private paramilitary groups - (who subsequently sent the gold to kemis, another person who seems to think it's fine to supply foreign soldiers on eNZ's money) and five hundred and fifty gold to Oslobodjenje ili smrt which appears to be a largely inactive company org controlled by Koska, but has clear ties to some. people's. private. interests.
The below page is the next most recent page following the above image.
Yes, I am aware that 65G and 1000NZD (about 80G total) have been donated back from OIS to Koska, but still leaves over 450G unaccounted for and I see no reason why eNZ's national savings should be handed out to somebody's private control without explanation anyway.
I am publishing this to request more transparency in where eNZ's money is going. There shouldn't ever be donations this big made to citizens, especially when NZDF Unit 3 has yet to receive any funding from the central bank.
Anybody care to explain? These are big numbers moving around behind the scenes. I'm very willing to work with all of you in eNew Zealand, but this kind of bias is unfair and simply not right.
- Spud of Doom, MP for Otago.

This is investigative journalism at its best.
Thanks for the report, Spud.
Can we have an explanation of this use of gold, somebody?
Why does this not surprise me the slightest?
Serbs have control of eNZ and it's the pawn of Serbia. Seriously, just leave already, it's not worth staying and fighting for.
ITA: NZer points out the obvious in that the serbs are working with serbia. also in a manner of speaking those NZers point out the stupidity in their policy of neutrality
"Serbs have control of eNZ and it's the pawn of Serbia. Seriously, just leave already, it's not worth staying and fighting for."
I waited over 2 years to get my home country in this game, I'm not about to leave it in a mess - and probably not at all.
Crusadercarl has told me something about repaying a loan that was made to eNZ some time ago. Is anybody able to explain what happened there?
As far as I remember, some time ago while the government did not have control of the reserve money, hundreds of gold (about 800?) were privately collected to print NZD.
This was probably repaid now?
That seems to fit in with what he said.
Why are things like this left unknown to the public? Surely if information like that was publicly available it would be much better for the government's public image than the current situation (i.e. I look around in donation records and write negative press)
@Spud of Doom : in a previous topic i posted similar concerns about money being transfered among private org without publicity, and the story of loans came in the answer of the president... still there is something fishy when this loan is still being re-paid once more??
what is more important is the question of transparency?
why there is no public budget? Don KronoX had promised one!
unless there is transparency, articles like this are very legitimate
I can second the matter about the loan.
The reserve bank (crusadercarl etc) had some problem with the PIN and as a result, we couldn't send along the 700G to the central bank. Don then borrowed something from the Serbian militia.
That's said, seems like we are always spending money..without a vialble saving mechanism.
btw, i understood that Srpski Korpus GS is also part of NZDF and not totally private militia. Well, that's why i signed with them.
That said, i have not received any food package from Srpski Korpus GS for a while now. 🙁
ps: the disclaimer should be at the top of the article, really. to be fair.
Sherlock, perhaps next time try to ask someone why this is done 😛!!!
mcmoox, congressman of eNZ,
''Serbian thief and destroyer of eNZ'' / irony off
Today is our Christmas and in spirit of forgiveness I shall not argue with anyone, if you need info, please send me a IGM Spood, and I'll explain it to you...
Мир Божји и Христос се роди!
Срећан Божић, браћо Срби!
Serbs have control of eNZ and it's the pawn of Serbia. Seriously, just leave already, it's not worth staying and fighting for. x2

Pa gde si do sad? Pravio si probleme negde drugde?
loans? how convenient...
what were they for?
"try to ask"... LOL
govt need to be transparent, it needs to publish a budget and explain where the public money goes and why and where it is used...
journalist need not to go to ask unless there was transparency and something not clear within a transparent system, looks like you do not know how free press functions!
anyway, why he should ask you? are you in govt? what is your position? and why you know and he does not? is that transparency, some people keep info to them and away from general people??
why did not they contact me for a loan??
"govt need to be transparent, it needs to publish a budget and explain where the public money goes and why and where it is used..."
Eh? Why is this needed? In many countries there is no budget publicly discussed and there's no problem with it.
You all demand that things are done YOUR way. Why? When the government decides it prefers to discuss matters on IRC, then so be it.
Journalists need to investigate. That means asking questions, not running an article in a knee-jerk fashion. It becomes yellow journalism when that happens.
This is just embarrassing.
I was on IRC for several hours before writing this article, but nobody online was able to explain what was up so I made this.
Even though this can be explained, it took a fair amount of asking around to find out the (not so bad) truth on the matter. As a newspaper, I feel like it's best for me to publicise something like this as soon as I know, so that I can get an explanation on behalf of the public.
From what I've seen around, here's what it seems happene😛
- People lost access to the Reserve Bank of eNZ due to password/PIN some time in December
- Government wanted to print some NZD, so they got loans from private sources (without telling everyone else), and these sources presumably included SK and Koska
- Recently government had saved more money and RBNZ has control again now, so we're paying these loans back.
- If my info is right, there will probably be a 20G donation soon to clear the remainder of the debt.
@Carr De Vaux: Updated it and moved it up top.
Also, I know PMs can be used to find out, but I think this is a good lesson for why government spending records should be made more accessible to view.
Spud, I'm not going to tell you how to write your newspaper. I understand the need to publish an article about something you have doubts about. But, you need to be more careful with what you write, considering the societal landscape around here. It's a bit too sensitive to go throwing out accusations.
@Reaktionaer: You all demand that things are done YOUR way. Why? When the government decides it prefers to discuss matters on IRC, then so be it.
The fact that this happened in the middle of my congress term while I am active on IRC most days makes this a bit less excusable, does it not? I'm not the only member of the government who didn't know what was happening here. At the very least, congress should know where the money is going.
Well, Spud, considering they hold majority and the presidency, I don't think people like you have much say in the matter.
Unfortunate, but true.
I realise that, but I want to the best job I can of figuring out what is going on with the donations that I'm voting for, and if writing articles like this gets people to clear the matters up at least a little, I consider it worthwhile.
1/40th of a say is all I can ever hope to have as an MP, but I want to feel like I can at least support my opposition as a government. How many other countries have people opposing donations to national banks for fear of unclear interests? The more I keep looking into things like this, the more likely I can figure out what actually goes on and, hopefully, be more supportive and involved.
That's good enough for me, Spud. If you feel like this is the best way for you to get answers, then go ahead. Just be aware of the stigma attached to this sort of journalism.
I'm glad you haven't given up on this nation like so many fools have.
Well I don't like having to do this really. It takes quite a while to write as well. I just thought 700G was a hell of a lot of money to leave unanswered. Plus this has got mcmoox talking to me on PM, and recently crusadercarl has convinced loader to post summaries on congress proposals in the forums. More conversation is good conversation.
transparency and budgeting are good practices... even if other govt did not adhere to them, as citizen of eNZ, it is my right and duty to ask for whatever i think benefits eNZ
Spud is being a good politician and trying to make sure that he remains accountable to the voters who sent him to Congress. voice is also pressing for transparency and it is something we in eNZ should adhere to if we want people to continue to have faith in our govt.
The facts these issue have led to "Aotearoa" to take action and engaged with the other parties Congressmen shows that what spud and voice are doing is right and that it can led to dialogue and hopefully better ties between the majority party and the opposition parties.
Half of information doesn't mean it will be good article. This is yellow press and presents little or no legitimate well-researched news and instead uses eye-catching facts to take more subscriptions
No vote!

Koskadestrah sent 700g for this
EPIC FAL
@Ivanmiletic 800g
eNZ was left out the money do the "Reseve bank" situation
1. i jump in and loaned 800g, some mine, some from Serbian militia (SK)
2. money was here 1 month, and now it is return to the owner, without any interest.
3. Don has kept records, and all of u can see it.(just ask)
4. where is the financial report of Calbes government?
P.S.
i loaned 100g yesterday for MMP, so you can expect another donation.
Koska: it is not directed at your or at the serbs, we need a budget and to be more transparent.. if Calbe failed to do that, we do not have an execuse to continue failing in that especially that time had passed since then. Calbe is to be criticized because of his lack of communication (Don at least gave general reports) but we that is no reason that we still have no public budget.. a budget where every one can refer to, a budget that is publicized by reports from minister of finance
@voice we didn`t have anything, no bank no money no orgs, noting.
Just ask Don and u can see everything. He didn`t published, but anyone can see it.
@koska, i don't blame you for that! lets stop talking about the past.. it is for the future. Don had shown me his logs, that is called cash flow, not a budget! anyway, for the future i talk..
it will be very good practice (who ever was in power) from the minister of finance to provide at least a bi-weekly summary on the financial affair (also ideally all other major ministries should do) and it is very good for the country that we have a budget... a budget is not a log of where money was spent.. it is a plan where we will put the money, how much we expect to get from taxes, how much (in number or in percentage) we will assign to each ministry or to each expenditure category
@voice
We have that planed too, and we are willing to do that, that is planed for this month.
good news. if you like a little help with that, it will be my pleasure
Hi I love you all 😁 \o/
Your 'investigation' processes have certainly moved forward from the last article and you're learning a little more about how cash is being re-cycled in and outside of eNZ (and other nations).
I'm subscribed to see if this is a one-off or the start of a very good stream of media.
Regardless of the intent of the government, we need more transparency.
We receive so few bits of information, that it takes accusations in order to get the truth.
If Spud of Doom didn't write this article, we wouldn't have even known that there was a loan.
Congress members have had access to the Central bank of eNZ donation google doc for a few days now.
Oh yeah, and I need soldiers, please PM me if u want Q3 food and a cool as uniform. And also could u PM me if u can make a cool as uniform.
Hristos se rodi... \o/
Spud, i always wonder about these things but i know every gov even RL ones have secrets so it isnt my place to know whether or not i want to. But since you are in congress, it really worries me about this "unity". I have said many times i dont care if they were serbs but if they are now kiwis, yet their loyalty lies elsewhere...
@IvanMiletic: "see this http://www.erepublik.com/en/New-Zealand/law/63073
Koskadestrah sent 700g for this
EPIC FAL"
That happened before my term in parliament, so it wasn't too important for me to know everything about it since I didn't vote on it.
@loader:"Half of information doesn't mean it will be good article. This is yellow press and presents little or no legitimate well-researched news and instead uses eye-catching facts to take more subscriptions"
I'm not here to get votes or subs on this one, but it looks like enough people have seen the way the in-game information looks to someone less informed. What if it was not me who saw this, but a new player? I already personally have 4 RL invited friends who have quit because they don't like the eNZ government.
@Koska de STRAH:"Just ask Don and u can see everything. He didn`t published, but anyone can see it."
This is good, but the problem is that people didn't know this existed. Only because of writing this article did I even find out that there is a google doc with central bank donation records. So really the problem isn't that things are being hidden, but that people don't know where they can look to find out what they want.
@Alfagrem: "I'm subscribed to see if this is a one-off or the start of a very good stream of media."
Thanks for the sub. I don't write in here all that regularly, it's only when something big or serious comes up usually. I might change my mind in future.
Reese, i have not left, except for the holiday mission, anyways, i regret that many left too and am disappointed by those like Fionia, but you also left right? you may have come back but so might Fionia and others, so dont be too self-righteous in that regards because you are in the same boat, you just left earlier and cam back earlier...
but i do hope despite our differences, we but work to make eNZ the best it can be!
Spud, then shouldn't you have waited until you had the entire history about what had happened?
Why make an article accusing of misguided funds? Why didn't you research it, and then make an article explaining why it was the way it is instead?
