Canada-America Peace Treaty- Do I smell hope ?
The CANAM war seems to be coming to a close recently. Though President Evry has not issued a peace agreement yet, he has declared that he will be open to peace talks.
Evry's Article
Evry has also said that he will be returning Manitoba in coming days, hinting that a full-blown peace is under way. On top of this, America purposefully lost the battle for the Yukon.
In related news, it has come to our attention that the NE against Canada might be over-turned soon, following a vote in congress. (69% are in favor so far)
Though this isn't the full blown peace that many were hoping for, the fact still remains- A White Peace is Better then No Peace at all.

3 cheers for the ending of the most awkward looking war in history !

Zona Central attacked- No hope in Norte Grande
Chile's newly liberated territory of Zona Central has come under Argentine attack today, following it's liberation fron the Argentine Empire a few days ago. This territory is of high strategic importance to Argentina, due to the fact that it provides them with a 40% food bonus. (Thanks to it's deer, and it's use as a landbridge with Auckland. Argentina's Grain.)
Though the battle is still young, Argentine empire soldiers look to be winning the battle. The score is currently 10-1 in Argentina's favor.
In other news, Chilean rebels have attacked the territory of Norte Grande today. This is Argentina's only source of Saltpepper, and is thus being strongly defended. Argentina is winning the battle 75-2.


Paraguay Rebels Yet to be Defeated.
Paraguay has managed to stay on the map ever since our last article (3 days ago), a huge achievement for such a small nation. And considering their opponent (Brazil), Paraguay's survival is amazing.
That being said, Paraguay is still stuck with 1 territory, and is fruitlessly launching an attack on Brazilian owned Paranea.
That being said, there are rumors within both countries' media of a possible peace treaty between the 2.


Brazil Places Trade Embargo on Romania
Brazil has placed a trade embargo on Romania recently, following months of political conflict between the 2.
You see, a Romanian MU was allowed to put it's base of operations in Brazil because both Brazil and Romania were TEDEN countries, and Brazil had 100/100 bonuses. Meaning that Brazil was a great place to put an MU's communes, since commune workers would now make more supplies, which means that the MU has more supplies to fight with.
However, this MU, Nemesis, started to fight against Brazil in it's RW's. This led to alot of conflict between the 2 party's, with Romania stating over and over again that Nemesis is an independent MU that Romania's government has no control over. Therefore, Brazil shouldn't blame them.
But blame them Brazil has, mostly due to Nemesis' attempt to enter recent congress elections, using their "Party in Rio" party.
No congressmen were elected from that party.
This will be harsh for Romania, mostly since Brazil is a 100/100 economy.
And we wonder why Brazil wants CTRL ?


Portugese rebels Liberate Centro, Alentejo.
Though I predicted that this would be a short-lived revolt, I was wrong.
Seems that Portugal's rebels have liberated 2 territories in recent days, Centro, and Alentejo.
Portugal is currently launching an attack on Norte. However, like previous attacks on Norte, this has ended in failure for Portugal.
(Spain won the campaign while I was writing, so that's why the previous sentence says "currently". Sadly, I'm too lazy to properly fix the headline. Weird thing is- It takes more time to write these little things about me being lazy then to fix the headline.)


Germany Defeated in East Midlands.
Germany has lost one of it's 3 colonies in the UK today, following France's wipe and England's declaration of war. This will take away a key weapon's bonus from Germany.
In related news, England has launched an attack on the region of North East England. Germany is currently winning the battle 59-29.


France - WIPED
What can I say ?
France has lost all of it's territory in England, and mainland France recently. We can expect a long, hard wipe. However, there are still rumors of peace talks between France, Germany, and Poland.
That being said, there is no firm evidence of this
Not many dance with the Pink army and live to tell the tale, now do they ?

Russian Soldiers Wipe Latvia
After Latvian soldiers attacked Moscow 3 days ago, Latvia is about to be wiped. Not one to be abused by a smaller nation, Russia launched a full scale invasion of Latvia as soon at the opportunity presented itself.
In related news, Lithuania may declare war on Russia tonight, in defense of it's Latvian allies. The NE is currently being passed by 1 vote.

The map lies- Latvia is indeed wiped.

Ukraine Declares War on Russia.
The Ukraine has finally declared war on Russia recently, following months of bitter dispute between the 2.
Though the Ukraine and Russia have real life problems, I only noticed the hostility in game between the 2 shortly after one of Poland's many invasions of the nation a few months ago. You see, Poland had just been expelled from the Ukraine, in all but 3 northern territories. Theses territories had grain in them- a resource Russia didn't have.
Russia then declared war on Poland, and invaded these 3 territories. Not willing to let them go after kicking Poland out, the Ukraine got understandably mad. This was referred to as the "Siveria incident". (Named after the key occupied grain territory.)
The Ukraine then made accusations that Russia was abusing Norway by wiping most of that nation.(Even though the wipe was with the apparent permission of the Norwegian government, in an effort to fight off PTO attempts.)
Things only got worse with the Moldova-Ukraine conflict. Russians were frequently fighting for Moldova in this battle.

As you can see, relations have always been cool, but have spiked recently due to Russia's counter-invasion of Latvia. (Latvia attacked first)
The Ukraine then vowed it would do war with Russia, after it had finished the war it started against Slovakia. Till then, the Ukraine signed a MPP with Latvia.
Long story short- Ukrainian forces have attacked Moscow today, and are winning the battle 22-0.


Finland Defeated in Kirde-Eesti, Defend Colony of Pohja-Eesti
Finnish forces faced a set-back in their invasion of Estonia as of late, following their defeat in Kirde-Eesti. Though Finland still holds Pohja-Eesti, now is a terrible time for their campaign against Estonia to halt. This is due in part to the fact that Russia has occupied Latvia- a nation that previously aided Estonia in their war with Finland.
Estonian forces have now attacked Pohja-Eesti, but are losing the battle 80-30.


Romania Soldiers Attack Crisana, Defend Maramures
Romania is attempting to liberate the Hungarian occupied territory of Crisana today, while defending the region of Maramures. If both these battles are lost by Romania, Hungary will now have a +40% food bonus thanks to the nation.
This chapter of Romania's endless war with Hungary is so far in their favor- Maramures has been defended, and Romania is winning the battle for Crisana 67-32.



South Dalmatia Falls- Croat Rebels May liberate Slavonia
Croatia's Stalingrad has fallen recently, following a successful Serbian attack on the Croat territory of South Dalmatia.
Luckily, Croatia may win a battle for Slavonia today. The score is currently 55-1 in Croatia's favor.


Serbia Declares War on Greece, Invades Montenegrin Coast
Now that South Dalmatia has fallen, Serbia has attacked the Greek-held territory of Montenegrin Coast. Greece is currently winning the battle 77-44.
If Greece does lose this territory, Serbia will most likely declare war on Italy (Since Montenegrin Coast is Greece's last territory in the Balkans)


Montenegrin rebels liberate Central Montenegro
Montenegrin rebel's have taken advantage of Greece's war with Serbia to free one of their occupied territories. However, the occupation has done it's damage, with Montenegro not having a congress this month.
Montenegro will most likely declare war on Greece soon.

Liguria- Italian Government Retakes Province.
It seems as if the "Liguria Deal" will finally come into effect today, with Italian forces winning the battle for Liguria 49-6.

Albanian Coast Attacked by FYROM- Albanian Rebels Defeated in all Battles.
Albania's army is currently losing the battle for Albanian coast- Albania's last territory.
On top of this, Albania has lost the battle for Tirana, and looks to be losing the battle for Southeastern Albania.

South Eastern Albania- 42-2 For FYROM.
Well, at least Albania got congress, eh ?
