THE NEWS

As the sharper amongst you may have realised, we have attacked Wexford despite our peace deal. But do not worry! This wasn't an invasion or even an accident, game mechanics dictate that after 24 hours, if you have an open war, you are forced to attack. Hopefully we'll be able to lose this battle and resign peace. Jamesw goes into more detail in the CP announcement bellow.

The MoHA is currently running a Cluedo on the eUK forums here, you can still sign up and there's prizes to be won!

The Ministry of Home Affairs is looking for people who can code in CSS (not necessarily amazingly well) so if you're interested then PM Betafoxtrot and I'll get back to you soon 😃

It's been a quiet few days so be sure to look out for the next edition of UK Today in 3 days time!

THE CP's UPDATE:

Day 3

So, I have a short report for you today; its been rather quite.

Serbia have had another rampaging battle against China; which they eventually won thanks to some amazing ONE support.

We also saw down a Louth RW; and are currently attempting to secure another Irish RW. Today, we also attacked Ireland directly; this is part of the game mechanics - in an active war there must be a battle within 24 hours of the end of the last battle. So it isn't a colonial turn, or an attempt at invasion. Simply, the game did it; the peace deal is fine and relations with Ireland remain OK.

Apart from that, to be honest, there isn't much else to tell you. CTA and MoD strikes continue to progress; we're seeing some fine suppliers this month too. Orders are being kept up to date and we have a steady flow in our logistical approach to this; more good signs.

I've also finalised the reporting schedule this month: you'll see a frank, open and hopefully long report from every Ministry at least once per week. There will also be useful and contentious stats like Income/NHS users/etc available every day. This begins tomorrow; so expect great things and useful figures in your reports too!

Finally, in MoD we're looking at the possibility of an interesting IRC bot, which would allow us to check that damage is being done when we supply on IRC: useful for giving supplies to citizens, but also tracking who receives supplies through the British-only MOD strikes. Again, making things easier; and to enable us to see which players are making the jump to IRC.

Thats about it; sorry its short and rubbish. Alas, there are no tragedies or storms of faecal matter to report!
