Hello all,

Some of you may know me under my old name George Norfolk. I am an old player with time to kill so I thought I'd jump on eRep and see what's going down. Being an old player I'm going to live up to expectations and spend my time here bitching.

Oh and lest I forgot the most important part of articles, the purdy ladies.

The topic today, the shiity front page.

This is the first thing a player sees and my god is it hard to look at, like porn just after shedding your load. First off you have the map, that is if you have the misfortune of it being expanded on login, The extra vibrant colours mixed with the almost black sea (why god, why?) just make it a bit of an eyesore and not something you want metaphorically punching you in the face when you login.

Then there's pop ups, oh sweet mother of god, I don't care, leave me alone. Popups are universally hated by the entire internet, oh I know, let's add them to the game, the players will love that! Just ... why?

Next up in the parade of ridiculous design is the Weekly Challenge which has a completely different theme to everything else on the front page. Speaking of which, the Gift a Friend block, Daily Tasks block, Military Campaigns block, Media block and Shouts block have completely different design themes. I have no words.


More perfection of the human body to get you through this

Gift a friend? No, doesn't need to be there and just makes the game look ugly and cheap like a five pound prostitute. Power Spin, literally adds nothing to the game, not even slightly. Well other than being a gambling like feature designed to make people throw money at it. Combat stash, sure I get it, you want to advertise it but maybe put it somewhere related to its use, ie the fucking war module.

What next? Oh the fucking shouts, 2% genuinely useful information, 8% mildly interesting news and discussion and 90% bullshit and battle orders. All the fucking battle orders. The same fucking link posted every hour by every fucking person in the fucking game. Or better yet, conflicting battle orders coming from every direction imaginable. You know what would be great? The wall being filled with highly voted shouts from the last day or so. You know, like every other site that has ever existed, ever.

Out of interest am I the only one who thinks this way or is everyone so jaded that they just don't care anymore? It's interesting that we can build organisations that direct tens of thousands of people to fight inr battles every day but cannot seem to direct the displeasure of players with this game towards the admins in any meaningful way.
