TFC is BACK
Tequila Fitness Club
The TFC has grown to over 50 members in 2 days after first only having 9 members left. We want to thank everybody that has helped make that possible. Lets hope it continues !
We will now start looking for capable and active citizens to run for the TFC in the congressional elections. We only want congressmen that are active on Erepublik and even more importantly, we want them to be active on the national forum. Right now only a small part of the elected congressmen actively participate in the discussions going on the national forum. This isnt good because it means a lot of congressmen are voting on proposals without really knowing what is going on. We dont want this from our congressmen !
So, if you think you are up to the job, then join the party now or if you already have then goto our sub-forum on the national forum and sign-up for a regions to run in.

Fourty-one new members, fourty-one bribes. Simple as that.
Oooh... Finally I hear some sense from kevlin and the TFC...
I do want to see active community members in congress rather than two clickers~
But yeah... you party is pretty much made up of two clickers... But I suppose the purpose of two clickers is being useful pawns...
Its because i wrote it Nozomi 😉
Yonai Keiko, Do you really believe people would join and stay because of a q1 weapons they got as a welcoming gift ? If we had given away q4 weapons and gold you would have a point, but this is just sad.
I bet TFC secretly gave away cookies too.
Only logical explanation.
Damn, someone caught us. 😉
They'd stay because they're apathetic two clickers who otherwise wouldn't join a party at all.
Ok great, always usefull to have some braindead voters for the party. Now go away an play with Yonai Keiko 😛
So our members were valuable members of the other peoples parties but now they are 'brain-dead two-clickers'? Well that should help you convince them to rejoin you!
Maybe they anted to join a new(Old!) party with a fresh active team that is more than willing to delegate and welcomes new players instead of being an old friends club?
Maybe they like activity and the chance to be supported in their ambitions? Maybe they like being just a PM away from advice and halp from the Party President? Maybe they just like a few yens worth of goodies as a friendly welcome?
You'll never know though as you just accuse them instead of speaking to them. If you actually knew your membership instead of just counting them in your party numbers you'd be able to speak to them and ask them and see what you could do to persuade them to join you as I have persuaded them to join me but you are too busy being bitter and accusing people to do any good old fashined campaigning.
You mean like gifts funded by funneling donations for the Kyushu DS into your party for distributions? (the 4 gold to PDN I am referring to) : http://www.erepublik.com/en/citizen/donate/list/1940437/1" target="_blank">http://www.erepublik.com/en/citizen/dona[..]437/1
Because I mean like, if it's good with you, there's no problem of course...
I haven't seen one party who's denied a member a chance to run for congress if that's what you mean by ambition nor have I heard any Party President ignore a member. It's debatable, but you are opening a very dangerous door, when you think spamming members of other parties is "good, old fashioned campaigning."
Like I said, it's all because of cookies.
Though to be honest I don't like the spamming of other parties' members either. The SOS was also spammed from what I've heard from the other members. Even I got one, and I'm Vice Brigade Chief.
I never said that. Some people joined because your party and ideals had a charm that appealled to them. And even if some did just join for the free stuff, there's nothing wrong with that. I'm not calling two clickers brain dead. I just like to see congress made up of citizens who are active in our community, which this article suggests you agree with me.
Of course, I belong to the ULJ. And we want our members to join us because they like our ideology, not because we offer free stuff. But remember that we pride ourselves on neutrality, and we may just support you on some future proposals if we see merit.
So I'm criticising you now, but I don't have TFC hate...
How dare you make such a blatantly false accusation Metic? The entire amount of private citizens donations (10-15gold or so in total) went towards the 200 gold I paid for the Q5 DS for Kyushu. Anything I do with my own Bank after paying for the Q5 DS and announcing via shout that it is 'Back to Business' is my own business.
You have just shown yourself up to be a liar and a player who likes to make things up in order to try to discredit players that you have a personal problem with.
no1kevlin
Well, you advertised to the Japanese public for donations to this organizations for a Q5 DS. All donations up until the 200 Gold Donation from Cero's utilities were for the DS....
So now, theres about 14 Gold leftover from the project and you decide that this money is yours?
Now I would understand it if this 200 Gold donation was meant for you AND THE DS but otherwise, you took the LEFTOVER money. There is no lie about it.
I mean seriously. You just admitted it yourself...
"Anything I do with my own Bank after paying for the Q5 DS... is my own business"
There was leftover money which was meant for the DS and the DS only and yet you believe because you finsihed the task that this leftover money is yours?
They didn't send it to you to no1kevlin to fund your personal items, they sent it to buy a DS and only a DS.
Please have some integrety and send this leftover money back to those deserving of it instead of spending it.
In the Federation, we stopped using money because of what it made people do. no1kevlin loves GOLD PRESS LATINUM more than a greedy Ferrengi!
Still, Congratulations on the Q5 DS in Kyushu. It's certainly better than the last Star Trek movie.
Thanks for the thanks Jean-Luc!
Metic you are starting to make yourself look ridiculous. The deal between myself and cero was a private matter and NOT a donation for the Q5 DS. Ask him yourself directly if he donated 200 Gold to help pay for the Q5 DS and then come back here and apologise.
I'd tell you what the deal was between he and I but as you well know it is against erep rules and a banning offence to make public private PMs.
I used the 15ish Gold in donations, added 185 of my own gold and bought a Q5 DS for eJapan to place in Kyushu. Most people just say 'thanks kev' or maybe joke with me about it being a waste of money but for sone unfathomable reason you see it as a reason to attack me?
I stand by my actions and I hope my good deeds reflect well in my votes received in my election for Congress just as I hope the citizens of eJapan remember your psychotic behaviour and outrageous slurs directed towards an active and generous Member of Congress if you try to seek election yourself.
No1kevlin
Member of Congress for FORTRESS KYUSHU!
@no1kevlin I think "psychotic behaviour" is a bit of an exaggeration for Congressman Metic's inquiries. I opposed government funding for the Q5 DS because of its low value EXCEPT as a symbol that we will not give up Kyushu again. But of course voted for the token 1 JPY purchase. And you are to be commended for organizing this action. As everyone can see from the donation list, a lot of eJapanese donated money for the construction of the Q5 DS.
However, as in real life, charities that do not operate with full transparency about the funding and where it goes often leave the donors with a bad feeling. For example, the Red Cross received many donations shortly after the September 11th Terrorist attacks intended for the victims, and then used much of the money for AIDS research. ALSO, a noble goal, to be sure, but not what people were donating for, and there was quite a controversy about the incident.
Given the hassle of eRep bookkeeping that probably prevents you from easily offering to return donations in excess of the necessary 200 gold funding, may I suggest that you keep the money in a safe there in the Bank of Kyushu for donations to JIA/JIN soldiers who may wish to tank in defense of Kyushu should it ever be attacked?
Also, not to be combative, but you are now a public figure who is party president of a top 5 party. Cero is a Theocrat, part of the regime responsible for oppressing the eSouth Koreans. (Cero: http://www.erepublik.com/en/citizen/profile/222761)" target="_blank">http://www.erepublik.com/en/citizen/prof[..]761)
I am happy to hear that Cero and Cero's Utilities was not involved with the Q5 DS in Kyushu. However, transferring large quantities (200) of gold to and from a known Theocrat for any reason is questionable.
From what I understood, there was no excess. He said he had about 15 gold in donations and the rest of the money was his own. Maybe I'm just not understanding, but how is it that this is an issue? If he used all of teh donation money for the stated purpose, then the funds in his org are not from the donations, so who cares what he does with it?
It was a political issue presented in congress with much fanfare (articles and such), despite the rejection by congress, so naturally people are probably interested in how it was funded. If no1kevlin spent his own money for the purchase, then none can question how he used it. In fact, I think it's a great thing and hope more businessmen can follow his lead and others who have done similar things.
185 gold from his own pocket is quite an investment and probably represents the largest ever single contribution from a citizen. Since he is using it as a rallying point, people would probably like to know where the money came from. If he insists that it was not donations and was money earned privately with his business enterprises, most people are going to leave it at that.
Well, I take people at their word until it is proven that they are lying. If kevlin says that he funded the 185 gold himself I believe him, and I'm not aware of any reason why he shouldn't be trusted.
I can understand that some people are inquisitive about the use of the donations. But if there was only about 15 gold in donations... and we're talking about 4 gold, from an org that he owns, donated for use in promoting his party after he put up 185 gold of his own money for the DS.... I just don't see the controversy. Maybe I'm just not understanding what Metic is saying.
@KITA ikki: It would be second biggest donation every in Japan by a citizen. InfernoSD, also a TFC member, gave a q5 hospital for free.
Any of those donations are dwarfed by one enormous one. The gift of His Imperial Majesty Kokawayoshi Makoto must never be forgotten. His magnanimous presence and noble word will outlast any building or any gold.
Never forget!
@Origineel.NL Welcome back! I do remember the old days with InfernoSD, a fine eJapanese citizen, I was sorry to see him go and hope that he, too, will return.
"Any of those donations are dwarfed by one enormous one. The gift of His Imperial Majesty Kokawayoshi Makoto must never be forgotten. His magnanimous presence and noble word will outlast any building or any gold.
Never forget!"
Quoi ?
NEVER FORGET
OK OK, i wont.
Watch out people, never disagree with someone affected by the Dio-syndrome, just agree with everything they say, it could be lethal if you dont. 😉
NEVER FORGET
SILENT LEGES DOMO ORIGATO
I never knew that such a donation would have been split up in such a way and offer my apologies.
I took the donation sheet at its word and saw 15 Gold leftover which was then used for what I saw as personal uses.
I'll just remember to message you about stuff like this next time.
I accept your apologies and thank you for it metic. It is a rare thing for anyone to offer apologies in eJapan and it proves you to be a better quality of citizen.
I also apolgise for calling you psychotic, it was a little over the top to say the least! Just sick of getting so much stick and abuse for trying to help out the country by donating time, effort and gold and then having people attack me for it.
Haha I really don't get the "YOUR PARTY ONLY CONSISTS OF 2-CLICKERS YOU DON'T DESERVE TOP 5" comments. Newsflash, all parties consists mainly of 2-clickers. The whole game consists mainly of 2-clickers. And while I don't agree with the current TFC's recruitment plans, I also don't think they're doing anything wrong. If your members are leaving simply for getting "bribed" with a Q1 weapon, they weren't loyal to your party in the first place. Maybe if you actually tried getting these people involved and talk to them etc they would have a reason to stay.
