It took patience and attention and through the process got a feeling for the community. Seems to be some small discussion on how to better attend to new players or not. A member of the Plato foundation challenged me to create a new guide for new players, after some discussion (unfortunately mostly with myself), the best way forward, if particular measures such as a more informative greeting message isn't produced, would be a new top five party populated by new players, to lobby for there inclusion in the political process without first having sold there individuality to the present top five.

Are political parties discounted on Black Friday as well?

You could just join a smaller party like the EPU (currently sixth) and make it into a "new players" party...

Indeed but when a new party is wanted, there are several that can be grabbed for free like https://www.erepublik.com/en/party/political-party-5681/1 or https://www.erepublik.com/en/party/the-world-party--5529/1 where no one runs for pp.
Or any other party to be found through pp elections.
