So I read the new resource distribution stuff.

Simply put, if Macedonia performs well, they can have 3 resources.
If Hungary, Poland or Bulgaria do this, they can have 6.
If Romania performs well, they will have 9.
USA and China will get 15 in the same circumtances.

Now if these countries will perform very poorly, Macedonia still get 3 resources, thus weaker ones.
Hungary, Poland, Bulgaria still end up with 6.
Romania will get somewhere in the range of 6 to 9.
USA and China will have around 6 to 10.

Ok, so how exactly is this fair?

And I won't even start on the fact that strong countries will get the more desired resources, while their weak neighbors will get the rest. So basically these small countries are doomed for endless, total occupation.

gruz geography ftw. poland got 6 cores based on nothing -- neither rl, we have 16 regions -- nor history, I mean mazuria? one pomerania? one silesia? seriously? plus, being one of the largest eu agriculture producer, we also got medium grain in v1. thank you, masters.
it has been discussed many, many times back in 2008/9, but the decision has remained unchanged. fine. I mean, any discussion with tptb is useless, so we sort of decided not to give a damn anymore, and we truly don't. it's just confusing in the beginning when you are a newfag and have to choose a place of residence -- you want to do it based on your rl residence, and here comes the surprise, in most cases you can't find your home, hehe.

it all reminds me very much of the old lulz @ plato, when the admins in their glory decided to return galicia to hungary (rightfully so, after some hax0rin wave).

...they however didn't see much difference between galicia in ukraine and galicia in spain.

As far as I understand all countries will get Fish 🙂..presumably if they manage to get at least one token (or the default selection of Plato does not need a token ? )
It's funny to see how Singapore ( 1 region) deals with the situation .

As far as smaller countries go I don't agree with you ..I would change my regions to be the duplicate the regions of my big bully neighbor 😉

Anyway big countries have a bigger amount of resources on their "originals"..what this competition does is giving the ability to swap them (I think US has the chance of having all resources on their "originals"),at the same time this choice makes them a target (see China).
