I'm Scottish - and while it is a little demorialising seeing our country occupied you must remember that this is a national team game. The most important thing at the moment is to continue full throttle into France or, with polish help, start booting out Canadians. There has been an awful lot of bad blood between us and Ireland, we finally have a deal to get two resources which will help us balance our country bonus pile (and more stuff = better UK overall)

Its all about give and take. The eUK is not a superpower. We cannot just take. We cannot do anything but be wiped out without our allies. And we cannot focus on more pressing issues if we continue to stir things up a bit with Ireland simply because it would look nice on the world map.
Be Sensible. Be Reasonable. Be Rational.
Use everything you have to smash the French and the Canadians with our allies. Then we can turn our attention to getting our half of the ireland deal.

As a Scot I dont want my country Occupied but at present we need to regain England and Wales to gain the benifits of their resources and drive out the invaiders before directing our attention to Scotland and Ireland.
Freedom will come in time.
