Back in the Saddle Again!

Thee Dude, our record breaker for most terms as PP needed a break so he traveled to Endor and Bright Tree Village (had to look that one up…) and found our old founder, me, to be PP again!

So what’s the status of the Rough Riders?

We were created on Day 5,192 which seems not that long ago but we are already more than 1.5 years old. I called it “The Final Phase” and for many of us that has proved accurate so far. The party was an attempt to be something different just like almost every other party at its start, except we were not founded on a distinct dislike/like of a game mechanic, or another party. It was founded to be a party of unity and activity. I think I can safely say we have achieved that.

Our party has the most members in the eUS - #1!

Our party is currently tied for #10 in the eWorld

Our party has the most active team of MoFA/MoD players led by Thee Dude, Herr Vootsman, SuperNova, and shefutzu over the past two years.

Our party has arguably the most active recruiter of foreign players into our country with Zur1en.


We have the highest percentage of high-level, active players by far.






We’ve also done this by remaining relatively bot-free. Every couple of months we remind our membership that bots aren’t welcome here and often we see 1-2 “new members” leave right away.

Simply put, the goal of starting something new, building it up into a relevant force in the eUS, and making an impact in the eWorld, has been achieved.

I’d like to thank the founding members of the party for their continued work and support and am proud of what we’ve accomplished in this tiny little game.


So what’s next?

The media has been largely dead except for our most recent WHPR and of course, our monthly statistics article published by the most consistent writer in the eUS, Mister Y.

The Federalists have continued to run the META with Congress, Budget, etc., but outside of Patanok, they don’t have much impact on the military module.

WTP has disappeared in relevance and hostility towards other parties.

The BSP remains steadfast and has finally stepped up to the plate fully with the reign of Henry the First! This is something those of us who have been around long enough didn’t think would happen but I’m glad it did.


SFP continues to do what they do producing a random interesting article by one of their gifted writers but even shiloh has no one to call a Nazi these days!

I challenge each PP to step up their game for some good ol’ domestic rivalries.

Specifically looking at WTP…

Man did he turn out to be wrong yet again. We did need a new party and the numbers clearly show that.

WTP - The only thing Dom was ever good at in this game except infuriating people was recruiting and keeping his party #1. Where did the WTP go?

Federalists - I think it’s safe to say of the parties left in the game, you represent the old guard and the standard for what was. There was a time when I was in your leadership that the Fed Media Machine was the gold standard. Bring a little bit of that back.

SFP - Make another push for membership and for articles relevant to the game as well as your fun off-the-wall ones.

BSP - Don’t let this be a one-time show for Henry and Arrden. Support them and stay active in the executive

The game has always been what we make of it.
Voots has made it a military module game.
Paul Proteus has made it a META game.
Pfenix Quinn has made it a media game.
Marcelaxy has made it a financial game (and military).
Henry has made it a “GET OFF MY LAWN” game.
Dom has made it a __________ game. (The best response here gets 25k USD)

The game allows you to make it what you want so go out and do something…anything…to make the game more interesting for you and the rest of us!
