Any of the concerns about the wigs getting wiggy about the truth of accounts etc. is unfounded because like we had IRC way back in the way back, between telegram & discord. There we can be completely open and laugh about it all.

It is one thing to begin playing, maybe some of your friends play, you start to like the game and really would love to be a tank or higher level air fighter now, instead of waiting years to build up. So, you buy an account via various methods. We all understand that and tolerate it. Of course the wigs do not, and we understand that too.

However, in some cases, the player may feel that they need to hide behind someone else's personae and is deliberately deceiving other players. They may be employing several methods to even play both their original and purchased account and sometimes several more. The concept behind these actions is to not have to answer to anyone for past misdeeds, lies and bad decisions. Some players have issues and enjoy the manipulation and deception, it is it's own game. This can grow to an extreme. We have all seen this in both it's benign and toxic form and have witnessed to damage it can cause. Some people are cruel, perhaps on a personal R/L level they are not balanced and have few or no boundaries all the way to behaving in a way that could described as a sociopath. We have all seen that and I'm sure there are always a few real head cases creeping around this game, seeking opportunities to cause harm and spin a web of lies that are believed, hence providing the manipulating player with a feeling that he got over on someone or a group. It is a matter of degree and reason that defines whether or not a player who is doing these things is having some weird fun or is really unhinged and have no boundaries in terms of hurting others.

So why does this matter? Who cares? Well, as described above, the wigs see it as last income. Other players, even if they don't do it, often tolerate a fairly new player taking a shortcut to a higher rank etc. In terms of the players who no longer want to be their original selves because they screwed up in some way, acted horribly, or was just a jerk, that is readily accepted as the infamous American second chance. All of these situations have been well tolerated since the beginning of this game, except by the wigs. It is the player who in their twisted brain is manipulating others to feel powerful and to fill some R/L void or it is a reflection of an unhealthy personality problem.

I know of a player who's name I won't mention, who seemingly has had a complete mental freakout over several months while going in and out of several in game persona's. This person has crashed and burned his R/L family & career while destroying all in game friendships all while hiding behind several American leadership positions and personalities. This is hardly the most toxic one but a good example of why this matters. None of us want to have any part of that mess.

In each situation the specific reasons matter.

So between now and primary then election time we must evaluate if this is a toxic situation, a person manipulating to get over for power and mental health reason or is this just some internet fun?

TBH: I am not sure about this one. I have seen some red flags that this is going to lead to a disaster with our allies. Many of you know that I believe we are wiped every summer because we tend to be older players and do not get the summer burst of activity that many other eNations do. It seems that it is sport to wipe eUSA every summer.

My question is about the true loyalty of this player and our alliance as we rapidly approach summer. If by supporting this candidate are we accepting a real risk of disloyalty and being throw under the bus at the onset of summer. Never forget the long slow ugly fluffer rage quit that put us in the worst situation imaginable.

I like when we are on easy street, I hate needing to buy weaps and food to survive. Let's be certain that this is a safe choice, a trustworthy choice. We currently have a good thing going, lets not take crazy risks.

Truthfully, this was something I had struggled with, and it's probably best that it's out there like this. I would like to be referred to as Patanok going forward as this was a fresh start for me - and I've worked hard to make inroads with all eUS players, something you experienced during our close cooperation with me when you were Federalist PP.

Animis: I was instrumental in picking this alliance and intend to stick to it long-term. And while it is pertinent of you to mention the wipe, you should not forget that we had five stable years (which led to the wipe) before that.

YES, you are completely correct. I tried to approach this from a very broad perspective. This current election will be a good one and I know you are well connected and the eUSA can count on you. As this is hardly the first CP race with not well understood players, it is my hope that we always look carefully about the candidates and ask these important questions.

"Close cooperation". We spoke in detail on two occasions well over a year ago...twice. Don't use revisionist history with me to try to support your new "fresh" game attempt. The last time I wrote to you over a year ago your response was, "Why are you messaging me."

I did not make this article personal and am hoping that isn't necessary. Now that we know who you are, I'm fine to call you Patanok if that's what you want. But the idea that this was a fresh start for you is exactly why I wrote this. It's not and you are being obtuse. Everyone in your circle knows who you are as you've admitted. You were only deceiving those who aren't in the know which is why I wrote what I wrote. Getting a fresh start with half the player base but deriding all your power and support from those who know you are using a new account is the issue.

Giving WTP a Deputy Speaker of House in exchange for supporting a Fed Speaker of House is exactly what I'd call close cooperation which is what we did.

Same account for 12 years and I forgot it existed for 8 of them.

We got wiped. We disgraced ourselves. We lost huge amounts of population. A bunch of snickering backroom-dealing jackasses -- of which Wild Owl was and is one -- spent years scheming and lying to people to jam the country into an alliance the majority did not want, and where we still don't properly fit. And now we're locked into it, with no freedom to maneuver. After their handiwork was done most of them disappeared, leaving a few behind to clean up the mess THEY created. Were it not for Voots spending money through the nose we'd still be a weak laughingstock. No thank you to any of it. We really should turn the page and look for other people, new people who haven't demonstrated they are scheming, lying trash to lead things. They might even inject some new energy into the game and the country, rather than spending all their time and effort sneering with their buddies -- many of whom are in other ecountries, and where their real allegiances lie, anyway. These people don't care about the eUS -- the game for them is about themselves and their group of friends.

Thank you for getting this out into the open. While we may all understand wanting to make a new start, people do have a right to know for whom they are voting, or not. Many newer players may not know or care what old players are playing under a different account or name, but those who remember our eHistory For some players, character is not important. For others of us, it is everything. Toxic game play can and does hurt real people.

WO's main account (https://www.erepublik.com/en/citizen/profile/7035406) has been died for half a decade and as far as I know he has never misrepresented himself. This isn't exactly the scandal that you are making it out to be.
