Haters gonna hate, breakers gonna break

Day 5,480, 08:34 Published in Bosnia and Herzegovina Bosnia and Herzegovina by Z E T N E R

Let me address breaking the pyramid, all the negativity that came my way after it and let me give you another place to express your frustration.

Context: On last night's Cloppo Pyramid I broke the pyramid on the last step (7.5k golds). If I refused the prize, someone would be randomly selected (there was less than 1% chance for any individual to be drawn) to win the biggest prize - 15k gold. I won similar amount last year as well.

Those who were polite expressed their anger by saying that I took someone's chance to take 15k gold from Plato.

This is how I see this:

1. 7.5k gold is a huge amount of gold for all of us who don't sit on 50k golds plus.

2. If I took a reward that is less than 2k golds, I could understand the frustration.

3.Plato/Admins don't care how much I or anyone else take. Anyone older than 5 should understand this.

4. This is pay to win game. What the community does beyond the game itself is one thing, but it doesnt change the fact this is pay to win game. People spend money in order to advance their profile, to be able to help their country and alliance. I am one of those players and if I spend my RL money here better be sure I will do what is the best for me and my side of the game. Those who don't like this have a problem with the game, not with me.

5. Me taking this gold not only helps me, but it has the additional benefit of 15k golds not going to a player who is gonna use it to tank against my eCountry and my alliance.

6. These rewards are provided by admins, so comments of people that I only come a few times there and collect the reward are irrelevant.

7. The only scenario in which I would refuse this prize would be if I was sure that someone who is an active member of an allied country would win 15k golds. Let me remind you, I spend RL money in this game (and those who do that keep this game alive) and what I decide in situations like this are and will be solely motivated by what benefits me and my “side” in this game. I respect every player here, regardless of how much money they spend here (and was and will continue to help anyone who needs my help with some donation or advice, regardless of their side) but that will not make me take irrational decisions.

I am aware that for those of you to whom my decision was not reasonable this will make me even more of a shitty guy, but that is honestly your problem, not mine. If I was really an irrational and selfish jerk, you would have figured it out already by now, regardless of the pyramid.

In the end - I don't really care what anyone here thinks about me, if their opinion is based on this, so feel free to keep on hating. I am much more interested in what people who actually interact with me think about me.

This ends this story about this, with exception of people who went/will go too far in “expressing their opinion”

Cheers.
