Enough is Enough.

Good Afternoon Friends.

I write this somber article today as I have finally had enough.

Enough of the harassment and nastiness from Sir Humprehy Appleby, and the divisiveness that he is trying to embed in eUK society.

Many of you will no doubt be aware of the controversy in the press the last few days. A common theme I have seen amongst the people who STILL continue to support Appleby is they haven't seen enough of the abuse.

Well, I see no reason not to set the record straight and let you all be your own judge as to whether you think his conduct has been acceptable.

Here we are.

I present in its entirety, the contents of the congress thread where Appleby loses all manner of common decency, as well as the Logs from the Spamican Discord, our telegram chat, and private messages between myself and Appleby.

To place it all here would be an unreadable mass of photos.

I will however, be highlighting the worst of it in this article, and an explanation of any necessary context.


So it started when I posted a message from the WARM alliance leader, inviting us to join, into congress. Appleby had an immediate go at me and then told me to download Telegram. I informed him that I never uninstalled it, unless they have a separate government telegram I am not in they have not messaged in it since September.

I apologised to him, multiple times, for not going to Cabinet first - but I insist that I believe congress should have been told. Since then, other Foreign Affairs decisions and questions have gone straight to congress before going to cabinet first, the declined Russian Training War for example. I hope Huey did not receive the same level of abuse and opposition from Appleby here as I did.




Decide for yourself if you think that this is a reasonable or proportional reaction. I do not believe I said anything untoward here, indeed, asking for a moment to catch up on the thread about Bank of England payments. I was trying to be constructive.


He then seems to lose track of the conversation himself and changes the topic yet again, attempting to intimidate me into apologising for about a sixth time for the same thing. Note the time stamps, it's 1 in the morning.







It is important again to note that he tries to do the "Lmao it was a joke" defense - this doesn't work, especially when there is no apology.

After these events I spoke to Huey, who admitted that Appleby has acted this way before, and it was just something we had to put up with (should it be?). He said he would talk to Appleby, monitor his behaviour and ensure he doesn't do it again.

The above events all took place on the 30th April. After this I resolved to not have any further communication with Appleby, agreed with Huey, that all my responses would go via Huey and not directly to Appleby, lest I get unwarranted abuse again, because why should anyone have to engage with that?


On the 18th May, Appleby then came into the Spamican Discord channel, looking immediately for a "boss fight"

He asked me multiple times what I was going to do as Country President. I told him that he should read previous manifestos, and then wait for June's manifesto as we were not going to reveal our plans to someone outwardly hostile to us.


I include this one as he accuses us of "Us vs them" comments, whilst being guilty of it himself.

Also note the insults to Keithunder and Certacito at the bottom.

It was after this point where MIK sent quite a polite message to Appleby, and then received the first example of homophobia from Appleby.


There is no context for this other than subtext. Appleby knows exactly what he was doing here. No remorse, no explanation, just pure spite.

After Woldy banned him from the Discord (presumably he could see it was ill-intentioned pestering), he then took it to my private messages, which are quite frankly unhinged.

This was followed by more homophobic language as well as his new catchphrase.

He then took the cycle of abuse into the Congress thread. Disappointingly people accused TRS members of spamming and being divisive, but the full logs start in my album posted at the top, at IMG_9043. Judge for yourselves, there is only one person Spamming and being abusive. As Mr Woldy pointed out in his article, over 100 messages were posted by Appleby between midnight thursday and friday afternoon.

I would also like to highlight at this point, Huey himself has assured us he will monitor Appleby's behaviour, and asked him to stop. Appleby did not stop..

Sambo tried to debate Appleby's proposal, with some genuine questions about the wording and functioning, which Appleby ignored, mocked, and outright spammed out of existence.




























Appleby then created a new cabinet discussion, and tried to pretend like nothing had happened.

He apologised, For using the congress thread. He has yet to apologise to me, or any other member of TRS who he attempted to harass. To the people who have endured this pattern of behaviour, it did not feel like a sincere apology at all, instead one of necessity and an attempt at saving face.

For those of you who have read this far, the important part.

Huey has allowed this to continue, and once again resigns to "monitoring his behaviour and supporting him".

This is not the sort of behaviour that should be supported or endorsed.

I have not had many problems with Huey's premiership until now.

This is a very weak decision, which Huey is now trying to leave to Congress in the form of the petition that is going around.

It absolves Huey of responsibility, of making a difficult decision.

This decision should not be a difficult one. It is repetitive abusive behaviour that has taken place without remorse and without regret. His defense is "lol I was joking", with no apology.

The fact the man was not immediately removed from his post is an atrocity Huey.

I know better than to sit around taking abuse from people on the internet so consider this my notice as stepping down from Cabinet. I’m not going to support a government that will endorse this behaviour regardless of its cost to the eUK’s community.

This has gone unchallenged for too long, despite multiple calls across the month for more to be done. No one who fails to act when multiple members of the community are being targeted can call themselves a leader. This administration prides itself on maintaining an inclusive and united community, a task which it is failing to do.

I know there will be comments on this defending Appleby’s behaviour, but the past few days has shown that many more people will speak out to condemn it. I’ve had more support than criticism, from people who are genuinely invested in this community, across party lines.

As for the famous MoFA article, all I was asked to do, after asking to get involved, is write a guide to Training War etiquette, which has already been previously published. So don't worry, I will get that done, but as a private citizen and not a shill of this current administration.
