No I'm not gone, I haven't vanished from eRep.
I'm still here
I've always been here.
A huge amount of being CP involves background work, work that isn't seen on the homepage or in the media. Since the 5th I've done a lot of work with our allies and with congress, ensuring that eCanada is steered into the right direction.
Many are asking you where's war? Where's our TP gold?
I respond by saying simply, good things come to those who wait eCanada is in an interesting situation. We're bordered by allies and war isn't something I can just wish into existence. We can't attack the US or Ireland because we'd lose our MPPs, MPPs that cost money. We can't attack France because they're currently involved in several wars and simply can't afford a training war with eCanada. We can't attack the United Kingdom because we don't share a common border with the UK.
War is coming and it's coming soon.
Portugal at the moment can't not offer us a training war because they are under attack by Spain. But when one door closes another opens. Soon the President of Portugal will NE eCanada. eCanada has offered to donate to Portugal Nova Scotia. This will ensure that if Portugal's original regions are conquered by Spain they can continue to operate as a country. Doing this will allow us Canadians to get our True Patriot medal and will allow the Portuguese to keep their country.
I would like to remind the public that international politics takes time, the medal will always be their, it's not going away. For those who have left eCanada for the gold, don't come back. I'd rather have a nation filled with people who understand the game and who have patience then a nation filled with people who will simply just ship when the going gets tough.

It's not that people ship when the going gets tough, people ship when they realize that most of the people enjoy the tough going. Not for me.
Some heads up on the medal would be nice. I can understand why people left, they had no idea if you were even working toward this. When people don't know what the president is doing, they think he isn't doing anything...
Sometimes being tough is about developing the right callouses, or just being oblivious to circumstances.

I can't get it. So the Canadians will be able to get their True patriot medals in a batlle against Portugal, who on the other side will not have MPPs. And even more - they will have to win both in Newfoundland and Labrador and in Nova Scotia.
And how is this going to work for Portugal if Spain follows them? You could not start a RW in 24 hours so you wouldn't be able to cut their border that easy.
I don't want to be a lawyer to the ones who left eCanada but when I did so I managed to get few TP medals and this way I upgraded my training grounds. For me this is what the "people who understand the game" should've done. If many people haven't done so (to upgrade the their trainings) then "the going gets tough" for them.

People want the war to keep interested in the game, the game is boring and another medal does help interest as you work towards something.
Also as egad says, the gold can be used to upgrade buildings to benefit eCanadian players
Next time I might just go for the Merc medal and fight for our enemies, I'm sure you would love to see eCanadians fighting for the enemy against eCanada

Sounds brilliant. I haven't seen Canadian military thinking of this caliber since Addy invaded Ireland.
Ireland's MP expires in 7 days can we simply not renew it and attack them, keeping the rest of our mpp's intact and maybe gain some bonus regions too

When you attack another nation you delete any mutual MPP's you have.
It's not the Irish MPP you'd be sacrificing, it's basically your whole stack
