President PigInZen Announces Think Tanks
President PigInZen has set up a series of "think tanks" - opportunities in which the public can discuss national issues in a moderated settting. The President said he is very interested in hearing public opinion on certain issues. His campaign talked often about getting the public more involved in government affairs. This is his first step in attaining that goal. He hopes to hear of the general public's creative ideas in these discussions.
Indonesia Makes a Surprise Attack on Southern Thailand
Earlier today, Indonesia made an attack on one of our regions, Southern Thailand. The attack seems to be a desperate attempt to get back onto the world scene. The former world power has been reduced to an unnoticeable country, and the attack on this region indicates their role as Phoenix puppet.
Southern Thailand is one of the regions we have obtained from Southeast Asia as we have region-swapped through the area in the last few days. The region-swapping is to give Karnataka, our high-iron region which we are renting from India, as much protection as possible from Phoenix attacks towards India. We also hold the region to protect Thailand from further Indonesian agression. Instead, we will bear the brunt of it.
It is necessary that as many citizens as possible move to Karnataka in order to build up the wall in that region. By doing so, they make it not only expensive to begin a Phoenix-funded resistance war, but also extremely hard to win the region. If you need help moving to Karnataka, please contact the Flying Unicorn Squadron and they will give you two free moving tickets!
Volunteer to Move to Australia and Get Free Stuff
DrTango has begun a volunteer movement to move to Australia and help it and South Africa get its regions back from a Phoenix-controlled South American invasion. If you would like to help defeat Phoenix, post in this thread on the eUS forums and you will receive 2 free moving tickets and 5 Q1 weapons to move to Western Australia (which houses a Q5 hospital) and fight for Australia. You must be an American citizen with at least 5 strength. Donations to the organization shown in the volunteer thread to fund the effort would be greatly appreciated. Hail EDEN!

Why doesn't EDEN embrace imperialism and put advertisements on addictinggames.com, fmylife.com and newgrounds.com?
These websites are prime areas that people go to and at least a percentage would join the game. We could get some pretty large babybooms going. And they are mostly eUS, so its not unreliable like youtube which has international potential-players going there.
Back to Imperialism: It may be frowned upon but its the only way to have some fun in this game, I don't support invading neutral countries but we should take it to Phoenix's home regions. Hit them where it hurts. We're not getting Hellokitty anytime soon unless something like a huge babyboom *cough* *cough* happens.

Why doesn't EDEN embrace imperialism?
And why don't we unite the leadership of the countries to have a babyboom?
addictinggames.com, newgrounds.com and fmylife.com are prime examples of websites that if we put ads on them, we could get huge babybooms. US has a huge amount of internet users, lets use them to our advantage. And as soon as the babyboom comes in, lets invade Portugal again. Only this time, lets make it work. Spain can attack as well and we could position Poland and Canada for strikes as well.
Of course, The scandinavian countries could strike Russia and region swap out of its way again. Australia could attack Brazil's foreign regions and China could attack Serbia's high iron.
We position EDEN tanks so that we attack whichever wall is lowest in any battle. Focusing first on the possible high iron in Serbia (I'm counting on the fact that Serbia will get its two clickers to fight in Portugal) while our allies and our armies try to take down the wall there. Then we can get a portion of the babyboom to stay in the game and re-emerge as the top (or maybe 2nd after Poland XD) nation in Erepublik.
Of course, this all depends on whether we can get ad space.
Heck if someone really wanted to, they could put papers up all over town for Erepublik XD but the ads on the internet would work much better.

Fully agreed, especialy with advertising on AddictingGames.com and Newgrounds.com
they really are MAJOR sites where thousands of american gamers go to every day, another one would be ArmorGames.com. They have just as many gamers going through that would LOVE this type of online game. No doubt they would provide extreme levels of baby booms, and most of them are inteligent.
On imperialism, YES, crash into their home territories, but yea like you said, we cant do that without a good baby boom. 😕
For the record, Australia is Sol, but they are also EDEN and Brollaince 🙂

I have to say by reading papers, and eye balling a lot webchatter, I don't think the attack was a surprise. Doesn't mean they are still not going to get kicked in the teeth. I would also suggest that more of you move to Karnataka, tickets are free, weather is great, and you are supporting your country.
