Pre-Publishing Article and Future projects
Franz Kaas
Hello and welcome to the first article of eMarket Insider!
this article serves as an introduction to the newspaper's future publications and will be divided into three part where it will present what this newspaper aims to achieve , demonstrate what it will consist off and lastly present future projects.
as this newspaper is new and is trying to build a more elaborate attempt in comparison to previous attempts which never went into their full extent, I'm open for criticism, opinions and requests in order to improve.
First things first, "what is this newspaper providing me that isn't already available?"
currently, eRepublik's market provides information about goods available on the market with its current prices and available quantity.
as this information provides with the immediate and short-term prices, it leaves a gap in the long-term price changes related information which provides with a certain understanding on potential profit opportunities, price margin between production costs to final product and potential to growth.
I aim to bridge this gap by calculating information on daily price changes and providing on a bi-monthly basis the results and relevant interpretation.
As mentioned above, each publication will provide with the data related to price changes of the market.
These numbers will be represented by numeral charts, visual graphs and relevant interpretation if relevant.
as an example for such practice, I'll demonstrate it on December's Q1 Food, Raw Food and Gold price changes for days 4776-4792.
**golden tab represents the beginning of data and thus not compared to previous days**
from the information above, it can be concluded that Q1 Food prices fell in this 20 day period and currently are even lower thus indicating a continuing drop in its price. a wise conduct would be to refrain from selling stock but rather wait for the price to rise back up again.
Next, in order to determine profitability out of producing Q1 Food, price changes in Raw Food for the same period is needed.
thus by calculating country bonus (eUSA), city bonus (Virginia) and pollution factor, total profit of each Q1 Food production would result in the following:
the total profit graph shows that following the 4776 price peak, Q1 Food price went through a decline in its price which stabilized on 49-53 mark. As the information indicates that selling is rather unadvised, producing and selling Raw Food units remained stable and unaffected by the Q1 Food price drop. and thus a safe income during that period.
important to note, future publications will consist of similar information on any type of consumable thus any interpretation will take a broader meaning rather than only Q1 oriented like in the example above.
Future projects
Ongoing project:
- Total profitability include lost revenue due to taxation (production/sell).
- Visual Format changed to visually nicer one.
- possible separation of articles into Food&Gold and Weapons for easier reading
I'll finish this article by saying again, i welcome any form of criticism and/or advice, i do not aim at making any profits with this newspaper but rather provide players with available information which benefits us all.
if you have anything you would want to see in future articles or know someone who would be interested in collaboration, DM me now.

You might have heard about erepublik tools the website...
[removed]
erepublik.tools/en
just went through it, really good website!
pretty sad to admit that it seems way more comprehensive than what I'm offering haha
so I'll look if theres anything not provided in the site which i can do.
thanks to you both
don't be sad, the site have pretty good information, btw, don't have your analysis and opinion, keep the good work
me being sad might've been a bit of an exaggeration, the site might provide with numbers but it still lack in providing in depth analysis and profitability of different types of consumables.
appreciate the encouragement though, the community's support never stops surprising me

I don’t think erepublik tools has a business profitability calculator, which would be really helpful. A business profitability calculator, ideally, would show net CC earned, brown down by work method - work as manager (WAM) vs work tickets - & further by company type.
You mention total profitability as including lost revenue due to taxation, both due to production and sale. For WAM, there is also a cost for energy, since it takes 10 energy to WAM ( i.e. 0.35+- cc per q2 food x 5 units of q2 food = 1.75 cc per WAM). Keep in mind pollution & resource bonuses (possibly easier to let users input these values), & the optional Tycoon Pack.
Thanks for the up to date info.
Nicely done. o7
