[W-CUT] What is Congress Up to?

Day 4,517, 07:21 Published in USA USA by Malpazar

What is Congress Up to? or W-CUT is a public record to convey the business of congress in short form. This is done as many do not access the meta forum. If anyone has any issue with the publication of Public Congressional Discussion or data please message me and I can work with you. Private Congressional material will never be published by this paper.

Cash or Credit?

Nearly every W-CUT includes some mention of the budget, as these usually came out on a monthly basis. eUSA's budget reporting has varied in importance however these days with the CRAP (Currency Rebate of America Program) program it has become more of a focus for the average active citizen.

Discussion for April's budget was started by Franklin Stone of the SFP, and featured a zeroing out of traditional line items: U2 A. "Executive Defense Fund" and Line U1 MPP Costs. This interestingly sparked conversations on budget accountability of the executive. As for those not in the know, in the eUSA congress goes far beyond the traditional lever based mechanisms here in the game itself. There is a eUS code, and constitution that establishes branches of government and accountability for the citizens of the country.

There was also a proposed increase in CRAP's budget. Which would mean more money in the pockets of those who actively comment on the daily program post.

Currently discussion is ongoing about the proposed budget, the last approved budget agreement appears to have been in January and that budget has been the basis of governance for some time.

For now folks that is all I care to share in the paper (because y'all never made SoH votes public so I cannot congratulate this terms speaker!) I will try to keep up with the comings and goings of our great legislature. But for now peace out.

Signed,
