Time for an update on foreign affairs. There have been some interesting developments and new from across our border.



The United Kingdom has been wiped for some time now. The oppressors are their enemies however the UK government has managed to make the best of the situation. Other than being wiped by Argentina, Greece, Croatia, Hungary, Thailand, Chile and Turkey they face internal turmoil in the form of a political take over (PTO). To prevent the PTO from happening they have agreed with their invaders to remain wiped of the map so that they will not have congress. This is the only way to prevent foreign players to gain citizenship and the political enemies to give away citizenship once they are elected as congress members.



Montenegro has been invited to join the Code Alliance earlier today. The country has seen massive military improvement over the last year. The community in Montenegro can be proud of their achievement that has resulted in this invitation. With Montenegro joining the Code Alliance the strength of our 'enemies' grows. Although we mainly operate off the radar from the anti-Asteria alliances such as Code and Andes we are still alligned with Asteria and a member of Orion. Foreign Affairs will never be boring!



South of our borders France has arrived at an important moment. They have called for a referendum in order to end a long-lived war and start four training wars with enemy countries or continue to fight their enemies that currently occupy their home soil. France is a member of the Hydra alliance that has been in war with the Code and Andes alliances for several months now. Code has the upperhand and France has no chance to liberate themselves without massive allied support. Currently only Croatia, Greece and Chile occupy French regions however with the signing of the possible four TWs agreement a fourth country will join and occupy regions in France. Personally I think Argentina or Turkey will be this fourth country but that is just speculation.



Some new that has a direct impact in the Netherlands. Within the next few days we will sign an MPP with Israel. Our alliance friend has requested for the renewal of our earlier expired pact. Later this term we will also renew the MPPs with Russia and Portugal. In the last few weeks we've been set as Campaign of the Day several times by Portugal in order to manage our direct wars with Estonia. This is especially important when our strongest fighters are not online. These are the three MPPs we are eiger to sign. The government is still thinking about the renewal of our expired MPP with our friends in Canada.



Lastly the ministry has been involved in negotiations involving our resource concessions. We've happy with the outcome of the negotiations especially as the value of currency these days has shrunk significantly. We have also reached out to our Canadian friends concerning our Sand resource. Canada has 90% house bonuses secured in their core regions however do not have the sand resource yet. In order to increase their production bonus we proposed the rental of our resource. At this point we are waiting for their congress to make a decision.
