Join the new world

Let me begin my term as CP by saying a big "thank you!" to all who voted for me. I'm honoured to represent you all, and I'll do my best to repay the trust you've placed in me.

To help me fulfill that task, I've gratefully accepted the assistance of the following poor souls who've been foolish kind enough to sign on:

There's still plenty of room in the cabinet if anyone else would like to join us - it may look quite small, but it's actually bigger on the inside, and we leave the door open every now and then when the walls start closing in on us...

Production Survey

I am a great believer in making fact-based decision, and the first step in doing that is, of course, the collection of facts. So to enable your government to make smart choices on your behalf, I've set up a brief survey to try and find out where our production lies as a country. It's completely voluntary of course, but please bear in mind that if you don't fill it in we may end up inviting a TW partner to sit on your weapons factories, thus preventing you from working in them.

Training Wars & Military Orders

Most important order right now - DO NOT SUPPORT an RW in SEoE!

As most of you are hopefully aware, I've assumed power in the midst of a change in our TW situation - UAE are in the process of moving into our western TW rotation regions, while Romania currently hold East of England for a TW with the Netherlands and are using our other eastern regions for a rotational TW with us. Bulgaria will be staying in North West of England for the present, and will continue to ping pong with us in the North East of England. Once the situation has stabilised, I (or my MoD, if someone would like to volunteer for that position...) will provide details on how these TWs will proceed on a daily basis. In the meantime, look for shouts on the country feed, the MoD mail, or check the following location for the most up-to-date version:

Communication and Community

While I'm as big a fan of clicking buttons and watching pixels change as anyone, the part of the game that I think really keeps people coming back is the community. I would therefore encourage everyone to join the eUK community on our Telegram group eUnited Kingdom. It's a good place to get beyond the smaller communities of our MUs or our parties, and also the best way for your government to communicate with you more quickly than any in-game method will allow. Think of it as a fun sandwich with a thick slice of community and a little bit of big brother on the side. Or maybe don't...

We have many things to accomplish this month - expanding our TW options, setting up a rewards system, developing a coherent foreign policy, maximising our production capabilities, to name but a few - so expect to hear more from us in the coming days. And if you have any ideas for how we could improve things, please reach out to me or one of my ministers and we'll see if we can fit it in - like the cabinet that I've cruelly stuffed all my ministers into, the UK is capable of handling more than you might think.
