[CP]America! To Arms!
VoxHumana
Citizens of eUSA,
Greetings to you, and salutations from the Office of the President.
Make no mistake. We have brought war upon ourselves by our own actions. We aimed ourselves toward this precise moment and the moment has now arrived.
We go to war.
When eUSA signed the Non Aggression Pact with Asteria on May 22, 2020, we and CODE had already lost our war against Asteria. Most of our regions were being occupied in a hostile way, and neither our government nor our alliance had any hope of preventing us from a long-term wipe.
The NAP was a victory.
The NAP established peaceful and prosperous terms with Asteria which enabled us to take better advantage of Plato’s Hot Summer Event than most other nations in the game. It also necessitated our coordinated functioning with Asteria and others in her sphere, an ongoing situation which has earned us respect among our former enemies.
Where military victory was impossible, diplomacy won the day. Here is that document.
When we agreed to participate in Asterian operations outside of eUSA’s core regions, we did so knowing full well that we were in the beginnings of a shift in Foreign Policy that would one day bring war upon us from our former allies. There were a few members in Congress who opposed our cooperation with Asteria, and the impending invasion was one of the consequences they noted. Everyone knew they were right about that. Now that invasion is coming.
The reason I, my administration, and a strong multi-partisan majority in Congress approved our participation in Asterian operations had nothing to do with avoiding this invasion. Most people who play this game actually desire meaningful battles to wage, and we now have just that! No, the reason we chose Asteria as a beacon for our Foreign Policy is because when we do go to war in this game, we wish to do so alongside nations which will fight together.
As a reminder of why we found ourselves in the situation of leaving one alliance in pursuit of another, I quote President Bubblar from his article published on Day 4,556:
“I will be blunt: there is not a military solution to this situation. Our Alliance CODE is boycotting packs for this month and have instructed the CPs of its member nations to spend this month focusing on the community.”
- President Tyler Bubblar, source
I will also tell you that his measured public tone bears no resemblance to the fierce anger that was expressed by the entire executive administration upon learning that our “allies”, in response to eUSA being attacked, advised one another to focus on bread and circuses. That was the moment relations between CODE and eUSA were broken.
We were in an alliance with nations that would not fight alongside us in our hour of deepest need. As your CP, I have labored to make sure that will not happen again.
This is war.
This is a war we have expected.
And now we will see how Asteria honors its word and commitments. Remember, they bound themselves to treat any act of aggression against our cores as an act of aggression against Asteria as well. From the NAP, I quote:
Under the terms of this agreement, in case of an action targeting the USA core regions that wasn't previously approved, all parties must consider it as an act of aggression.
- Source
I am delighted to inform you that Asteria needed no reminder. Before I saw the alerts ingame, I had already received a message from Asteria HQ with initial details of their defensive response to this invasion. I look forward to fighting these battles together with you, the citizen soldiers of eUSA, and alongside Asteria and those who cooperate in her sphere.
During the coming days, some of us will encounter circumstances that prevent us from working in our factories. We cannot hope to win every battle, and some regions may perhaps need to be lost intentionally. It is my hope that our Training Wars have, quite literally, trained us all to check battle orders before fighting.
Every kill and every domination point is important.
I will be calling on the other public servants in Government to assist in keeping the lines of communication open. I want it to be as easy as possible for you to know where to direct your damage, and when. So watch your media channels for information.
Hopefully our Training Wars have enabled you to increase your coffers with resources. Now is the time to spend those resources in defense of our nation as it is attacked by the very alliance which abandoned us just 5 months ago.
Finally a word to those citizens of eUSA who oppose our current State Department and Foreign Policy. I ask you to fight first, argue later. Let’s win. Then let’s resume our debate. Show us, by your damage, that you care as much about eUSA as I do. Come to arms alongside those with whom you disagree. Do not withhold your damage for personal reasons; we have seen the ugly results of such selfish behavior in the past. Fight! Win!

"The NAP was a victory."
Failure is success. Losing is winning. Slavery is freedom.
Many of our citizens are RL citizens of the very countries you and the cabal have alienated in favor of the "victorious" NAP. But never mind that, it's just their "nostalgia," which you, in your vast "wisdom," dismissed. Because it's wise to disregard the sentiment of a large chunk of your population in decision making. Just write an article demanding that they, like you do, snap to it when ordered.
This is the first article you've written recently that didn't congratulate yourself directly for your own brilliance. Instead, you did it indirectly by congratulating the brilliance of the people who pull your strings.
It's kind of odd that the cabal were "furious" at our allies for having their problems. but rolled over like dogs and offered up their bellies to the countries that actually were invading us. But then, I lack your wisdom, so it's just one of those things I can't understand.
Wise words Mr. Barker.
RL cultural biases are not useful in this game, as you so recently pointed out in the Groot affair.

Whether or not they are "useful," flunky, is irrelevant. They exist, and anyone with a triple digit IQ and even cursory experience in this game ought to know that, and take it into account.
Something tells me that you don't even have a 2 digit IQ, Mr. Barker :'( - or you are very bad at propaganda xD
I'm sure CODE would've been behind us 100% had we stayed
Just as we were 100% behind them when they were experiencing trouble.
Wait, that's not what happened, is it? We signed a NAP, declared "neutrality," told our own population we were "neutral," when all along, as this article itself states clearly, the goal was to become an Asterian puppet, because after all, Asteria is powerful. Trying to blame CODE for what we have been and continue to be is just more of the same of the hypocrisy and dishonesty that is the hallmark of the meta heads. This is, BY FAR, the worst group of behind-the-scenes leaders this country has ever had.
"Something tells me that you don't even have a 2 digit IQ, Mr. Barker :'( - or you are very bad at propaganda xD"
One of the actual masters of the US comes along to defend his interests.
Who is the master of the USA? 😮 - I thought WO is that "master"
Many of our citizens are RL citizens of Asteria as well, don't forget to mention that

Making cryatians cry is a hobby for some of us xD
I thought your hobby is betraying friends actually. Change your newspapers logo, it doesnt suit a traitor.
Can't believe people are still upset about leaving the Code Alliance. What use is an alliance who is boycotting the game. With allies like that you didn't even need enemies but we also had enemies. At least Code now seem like they wish to play the game so really the community should be thanking the eUS for bringing more activity to the game.
I remember my cs being denied a couple months ago, I guess being RL American has no weight in the decision making for accepting someone’s cs. I would have fought for the USA, but if I’m not wanted I’ll use my weaps elsewhere.
Thanks Congress
If my party was still around we would've approved you. The US immigration system has always been highly unfair. Keeps a lot of deserving people out.
Dude, I actually told them that I knew you ingame and they said that it actually hurt my chances of being approved.
Yeah, I wish you asked me ahead of time. considering I was the leader of the opposing faction in the US civil War against the government I'm not exactly on their favorites list.

CURRAHEE!!!
I learned some stuff over the weekend. One of which is that Krapis is a f**king liar who has been playing this game for a whole lot longer than he claims. So my question is why should this country fight for someone who lies? How do we know that everything that comes out of his mouth is not a lie? We are about to be cluster f**ked and we have an untrustworthy leader.
in real life a Serb !!
It has nothing to do with who he is in RL. It has everything to do with who he was until a few months ago and who he is now. For someone who has been around only a 'few months', he knows way too much and has way too many foreign friends aiding his foreign affairs. I hate liars and he has done nothing but lie since he showed up.
What new tricj did you learn Lassie? Go ahead and show everyone .. Maybe you'll get a treat!
FULL OF KRAPIS
I totally agree
