game is kind of dead , most of these wars are training etc , to get points " patriots points " etc there is some sort of magic ninja business of when and how these wars start you do them in sequence do domino doesnt fall the wrong way lol .. but there are no big alliances fighting each other, none of that .. canada northwest territory has become a production hub for weapons , some international players manufacture there etc ..eCanada rent some regions as well , media is definitely dead , there is HAP program and there is Rydle cool gang who want to change the status quotes , sort of salt and pepper to pretty much boring mashed potato
I returned during covid 2020 after a 4 year hiatus, Id actually forgotten about the game until I got an email. The powers that be sometime before that decided winning the game was endless TW battles and the ability to farm gold. Short term thats a great goal but here we are 4 years later doing the same thing. Only real war of note was a few years ago and that was a meme war.
Endless boredom only diffrence is they pay themselves with govt tax dollars through HAP and starting epic battles.

Game is definitely dead except for the die hards out there. I played this back in 2009/10, came back to see what's shaking and to see if this game is still running. Here we are in 2024 and man, it's up still. Clearly some people are dropping their CC in the horrible cash shop here. I find it super aggressive in extracting money from you, as well it's pay to win in there.
People can have fun with their clickity clicks, but the game is done if that's all it is. Go waste your time on some real games like Elder Scrolls Online, Fallout 76, Helldivers 2, and on and on of a sea of video games to keep your attention.
I'm glad to have come back to see, on another note when is it time to really move on? I can only beat my head against a wall for so long.
That's why if you are playing and reading this, shake things up in a big hurrah! Break the status quo.

Gameplay is a lot more casual, predictable clicks. eRep has some seasonal events that incentivize extra clicking.
My take is that all the 2009-2013 took its toll on the politically active and they burnt out and left, especially when RL hit. It's hard to commit to managing ongoing game drama with life. Drama is entertaining but exhausting when you're in the middle of it and you eventually want it to be over one way or another. Everyone that stayed stayed for the sake of staying and committed to long term low effort clicking. Not just eCanada, mellowed out, but in other global powers too. Poland is ranked 8 in size and population and seems to be a pretty stable Farmville. (In comparison to eCanada: 5x the active population.)

Serbia side vs Croatia side is where the "real" wars happen. Serbia currently having the upper hand.
We have chosen the economic victory route. We have some of the best resources in the game as we have successfully managed 3 Recourse Wars events punching way above our weight class. We were listed as having the 3rd best resources in the game after the last event.
Who exactly continues to attack us?
Every country here is by our invitation to pad our gold and True Patriot incomes. The last hostile to attack us I believe was Croatia a couple years ago. Due to certain agreements Croatia made with a TW partner we have, they could not wipe us and soon got bored with the whole idea.
We have lean to the Serbia side of the world. Years ago the Croatia side kicked us out.
Any word on who is our current enemies?
You dont quite get it yet. We have none and havent had a war in over 5-6 years perhaps even longer, nothing happens here.
All the govt players and its supporters do is farm medals for gold and true patriot cc in the 8 or so training wars we have. They consider the game over and won are are happy to spend there time playing farming fake currency with not much to really use it on.
The only time anything remotely interesting happens is an event or when me and my band of piss ants stir up trouble for the lulz.
