Population Increase Idea

In the last couple of days, two things came into my mind, that could help Canada thrive and become strengthened. I will list one in this article and the other in the next tomorrow.
As you could tell from the title, I'm first going to talk about how to increase the population. This is only an idea, and has not been thought about very much nor has it been discussed with anybody in the government.
As of recently, Canada has 2000+ citizens, which means, if there is a paper that has a high number of subsribers, from any country, and if we can get as many people as possible to vote for an specific article of advertisement for Canada, then we can get it into international news, and use that as an advertisement for Canada and improve our population, which will hopefully help improve our economy as well. This is a replacement for citizen ads beign disabled. A Paper that would do the trick would be The Polar News, or one of the top 5 newspapers in Canada,
The top 5 newspapers are,
1. The Voice of EDEN
2. The Polar News
3. Canadian Defense Updates
4. Financial Times
5. The Last Book
It would be better if we could use a newspaper from an org. so that way, one person will notget a whole bunch of subsribers and have to use some of their time to write the article. but if someone does spend their time having to write the article, it will likely get them quite a number of subsribers, so that way they get the media mogul medal and get paid in gold.
Please vote it up, so that maybe someone from the government, like the new congress forming today, or the CP will see it so that it might become a topic of discussion.

You gotta bring outsiders in by either getting people to use social networking to spread the word or the admins have to increase the outside advertisement.
Perhaps im worng but I dont see us getting a baby boom from advertising to other eCountries since we have a limited number of people we can approve from citizenship which is greatly reduced by the number of congressmen that accually do this and the fact there is a tough screening process (hopefully) to stop any PTO attempt.
If you add the normal attrition rate to the immigration levels im sure we are either breaking even or worse declining.
We have to make eCanada more attractive to foriegn workers with good wages and ok commodity prices. We have to work on keeping people we already have by fostering a community environment and IMO get ourselves a war we can either win or break even. And regular eCanadians have to spread the word via facebook or whatever.
If all 2000+ citizens made 1 multi accounts each, we would double our population overnight 😉
Multi accounting, I'm sure is against the rules.
this idea is to try and get people interested in coming over to Canada, and creating an elife.
Real life ads and social networking, like someone mentioned above are the only real way.
In-game immigration is worthless.
Real-life ads constitute a poor approach to increasing national membership. Why? Because they cost money and resources, which should realistically be the responsibility of the makers of the game.
Social networking (word of mouth), in-game immigration, and player retention are the approaches requiring the lowest cost.
Given our control of the nature of the platform is inherently limited, our best option will always be to expend the least amount of real resources.
I would suggest a change to the homepage, adding the erepublik forum and topics for easy access. Also, we the players would have to participate more at the national chat and at these erepublik forums to keep new players interested in the game.
Banach is completely clueless as always.
