[RAF] Air Bulletin - 25th December

Day 4,418, 04:26 Published in United Kingdom Ireland by Alfa UKSF
Well yesterday was a wild ride as we attempted to accommodate 4 nations moving within our borders whilst also casting a sideways glance at whatever it was the Irish were doing.

The day began with the usual Training war advances as Hungary completed her move into East Midlands and Chile advanced on West Midlands. We also had the one-off event of Finland taking Northern Ireland by prior agreement.

Things then went sideways as the Irish DoW passed and finding themselves blocked off from their desire of attacking Ulster, they chose not to stack into that battle or wait and see if it became free - but they pitched into Wales with abandon!

Whilst this was considered a low probability event by the UK government due to the fact it would have a serious impact upon CODE/ANDES (Ireland being a CODE nation - BUT NOT A SIGNATORY TO OUR AGREEMENT) we had made a plan knowing that the Irish were not to far akin from our own derpy ways and moved to enact it.

Hungary moved into NWoE (the agreed spillover/safety region) to make sure the Irish could not advance further and also to keep their TW alive.

We were supposed to RW SWoE behind Chile to keep their TW alive, albeit down to a tricky two regions, but had forgot about the incestuous TW's that CODE/ANDES likes to have and found the region was having a Hungary-Chile barney.

We attempted to extend the West Midlands battle to deal with this but a Hungarian win in Round 4 in SWoE meant that we could not do this and thus the Chilean TW is at an end.

The prospect of restarting it given the Irish dispositions is not viewed with any great hope so for the time being we will be down to 2 battles a day, which is not a bad thing given it's the holidays.
With increased supplies on offer and gifts also being included we made our supply drop just prior to daychange on Tuesday so members could enter the day fully loaded.
