[Govt of eBelgium] Governmental Update: Day 1,220

Day 1,220, 04:18 Published in Belgium Belgium by eBelgian Presidency

With a lot of help from Pieter557 to accomplish this I present the next update of your government. I hope we didn’t forget anything important here. Enjoy the read!

Country President

Apart from helping out at the MoD and the army, he has kept the training war with eNetherlands up and running. He cofunded the brand new Military Unit and started the army commune system.
His most recent contribution is the plan to reform on how governments are created. He proposed to try out a congressional government. This means that the government will be formed by the parties that have a majority in congress. This is still being discussed, but the first reactions are positive.

Ministry of Foreign Affairs

As every week, mittekemuis, Chris Stanwick and jamster737 have been very busy keeping in touch and talking with other countries. Keeping track of the latest events and maintaining friendships. So, what did they see happen in the world last weeks? Our neighbours, France, UK and Germany have all joined Terra ( which used to be known as Panam ). As everyday, there are several big wars happening right under our noses. The most important one being the Training war with the Netherlands. Poland started fighting Germany to have a continue landmass for the production bonuses. France came to the aid of Germany after swapping a region and declared Poland NE. Hungary is still at constant war with its arch nemesis Romania and Serbia with Croatia. Across the Atlantic ocean, the USA declared Poland as NE and there we’ll see the next big battles.

Alliances of the New world.

1.Terra: Argentina, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Japan, Russia, United Kingdom, and USA

2. EDEN: Australia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Canada, China, Croatia, Finland, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Norway, Romania, Sweden, and Ukraine

3. NWO: Hungary, Iran, Poland, Serbia, and Spain

Ministry of Home Affairs

Fhaemita Malodorous has been assigned as Minister of this department. He started with updating the Belgium wiki page. Elynea has continued to brief and accompany new players in eBelgium. Bertie Ahern has continued to track and investigate citizen requests.

Ministry of Defense

A training war with the Netherlands has been going on for a few days now. Everything went according to plan so far. The army forum has been under reconstruction to increase clarity and improve navigation, a google spreadsheet has been started to keep track of all soldiers and their activity and the damage boards have been replaced by a google form.

Ministry of Finance

Apart from the day to day management of eBelgiums assets, he has given the army it’s monthly budget and kept the BEF stable. He also continued the discussions about tax uniformisation and how big the montly MoD budget should be.
The budget rose with 4500 BEF and 29 gold last week, mainly due to the training war.
In the future he predicts the income will lower due to the army communes and that the stabilization of the MM will cost a lot of gold again.

Ministry of State Companies

Quality Chocolates ( Q3 Food ) has been reopened to produce food for the army. The raw companies have been reopened today.

Ministry of Justice

NLSP is still working hard on reforming the constitution. The final parts of rewriting the constitution are almost done.

So that’s about what happened since the last update. The government should be listening to your feedback on it!
