[eBe Ministry of Justice] Candidacy Supreme Court Justice

Day 1,120, 12:27 Published in Belgium Belgium by eBelgian Presidency

Dear eBelgium citizens,
our constitution takes care of a lot of things and gives us some rights and responsibility. But in order to let this function very well all of us has to take up both these rights and responsibilities. One of these is the Supreme Court.
That should help protect you in your rights, but for the moment there isn't one installed. It is time to change this, even if its function is for the moment limited.
For the moment its sole and only task is to check and revoke not legitimated proposals, but that can be changed, and your input as justice is certainly appreciated. Now we need you, to take up your responsibility for your country and candidate yourself to become a Supreme Court Justice!
What is asked of you?

* you are an eBelgian citizen
* you are active on the forum
* you are not a member of the government (President or cabinet member) or a member of Congress. As ambassador you are allowed to be a justice, as a non-cabinet level government helper you are allowed to be a justice!
* you stay as much as possible neutral in conflicts between congress members, government, it is your job to say if something is constitutional or not! It isn't your job to say what your personal opinion is about it. It is not that you are not longer allowed to say your opinion, you just have to be careful that saying your opinion doesn't make it impossible for you to still do your job as justice in all serenity.
* you know the constitution and act in according to it!

So that seems a lot, but actually it is not that bad 🙂
If you are interested, even if you think that you can't do it or you don't fulfill all requirements, or you have a question, don't hesitate, but send a PM to your Minister of Justice, NLSP
All candidates will be heard and a few shall be recommended for nomination.
They shall after approval of our Country President, be nominated so congress can vote and appoint our first Supreme Court Justices.

With best regards,
From the Ministry of Justice,
Yours sincerely,
The Minister of Justice,
NLSP
