[Junkrat] A Glance At The Power of Top 3 Alliances
Junkrat
Important note on the data: these datas are relative, from different sources that we have at hand right now. People from different countries may have objections on the data which are true or not true. But i tried to whatever tools i use, or whatever formula i implement, make the final scores as fair and equal as possible for all the countries.
With every objection, i try to double check and re-calculate the scores. And also update the data.
For now, the final scores are fair, equal for all countries it did not change. But there are some differences that i will update them if i can to get the best possible accurate data.
Also, with total respect, it is a formula i picked to calculate the scores. If you are not agreeing with it, you can calculate it in a different way for yourself.
For me, the true power of an alliance lies within its leadership. And we can’t measure the leadership, unless we take a look at the results. Leadership of an alliance has many different parts. Diplomacy, culture, recruitment of new members, military organization, strategy, economics… these are some of the factors that a successful alliance should take into consideration when choosing its leaders.
We may not be able to numerically measure all of these parts. But today, i want to take a look at the power of the top 3 alliances, from the point of view of population power and, military power.
We will take a look at the datasets of each alliance, and then we try to give each of them a score with a simple formula. (I will explain the formula when we get there).
Datasets that we measure:
• Population: Total number of active population of countries within an alliance
• Regions: Total number of occupied regions
• Total Strength: Total number of strength of the alliance Legends
• Number of Legends: Total number of Legend accounts within the alliance
• Total Air Rank: Sum of all Legends Air Ranks numbers. Meaning, Air Commodore Rank would be 50. AC* is 51 and so on
• Tank Hit Total: Total number of damage per hit, All the alliance legends ranks can have if they use Q7 tanks
• Legend Hit: Total number of protector boosted damage per hit, All the alliance legends ranks can have if they use Q7 tanks
• Packs Total: Total number of packs purchased by the population. Does not matter type of the pack
Data Sources:
• Erepublik tools
• Erepbox
• Erepublik.com country data
Let’s get into it…
The CODE Alliance Statistics:
The following [Table 1] is the summary of all the CODE countries data, and the sum of them all.
The Asteria Alliance Statistics:
The following [Table 2] is the summary of all the Asteria countries data, and the sum of them all.
The Pacifica Alliance Statistics:
The following [Table 3] is the summary of all the Pacifica countries data, and the sum of them all.
The Alliance Score Formula: (You can skip this part if you want)
I used a formula to calculate a score number for each alliance. Stay with me so i explain to you how i came up with the score numbers and the formula of it.
First i gave a “weight number multiplier” to each of the metrics, based on its importance. e. g. I gave a weight number ranging from 1(less important), 2(Important) or 3(Very important), and then multiplied that metric in the weight number:
• Population Weight: 1 (Total alliance population x 1)
• Regions Wight: 1 (Total number of regions x 1)
• Total Strength Weight: 3 (Total alliance Legends Strength x 3)
• Number of Legends: 3 (Total number of alliance Legend accounts x 3)
• Total AirRank: 3 (Sum of all alliance Air Ranks x 3)
• Tank Hit Total: 2 (Sum of all Q7 tank damage x 2)
• Legend Hit: 3 (Sum of Legend With Protector Boost x 3)
• Packs Total: 3 (Sum of all alliance Packs x 3)
Then, i sum all the weighted metrics together. And finally divide the sum by a factor of 100,000,000 (to make it a readable, 2-digits number).
The Final Alliance Scores:
Alliance #1: Asteria
Score: 88
Alliance #2: CODE
Score: 62
Alliance #3: Pacifica
Score: 30.2
This means:
✓ Asteria is 29.5% stronger than CODE
✓ If combined, (CODE + Pacifica) together are 4.6% stronger than Asteria ~ On paper
✓ CODE is 49% stronger than Pacifica
✓ Note that these score numbers are relative to each other only.
Note: As i stated earlier, these are the data and numbers that we have on paper. And on the battleground we are seeing somewhat same results as well. But again, the leadership, organization and operations of an alliance can make things completely different. And i have no clue about how, and in what capability these different alliances are being led. Maybe some of them just have the name of an alliance, but there are no operation behind closed doors! Or maybe not…
UPDATE ON THE PACKS NUMBER:
Because a guy from croatia objected to it correctly, I re-calculated the scores, with half the pack numbers. The results of the scores were EXACTLY THE SAME!
Here it is…

These numbers eyeball about right, but don't even include our friends in Hydra and Lazocracy
Yes, adding Hydra to the Astria side can shift things completely. There are also other countries like Turkey or Albania… that can be taken into account.
Bro don't comparate eMacedonia with Turkey and Albania, we can eat them for breakfast o7
Yeah with bot armies anyone can win, not really something to brag about 😂
You're just lucky admins only target one side.
eMacedonia don’t have bot servers, we are around 50 active players in Viber group and 50 more in two click 😉
Where is Hydra?
Hydra is in it’s place xD
Well, i can include all the countries, but decided to go for the top 3 alliances right now for few reasons.
1. There are smaller countries / alliances who are on CODE/Asteria/Pacifica side. It’s not only Hydra…
2. It’s time consuming to gather all these data of all the countries
3. If people like it, i will do more analysis in the future. Still lots of other factors can be analyzed (economy etc.)
Pacifica is top what?
3?
But they are not active in wars!
What does that indicate? They are still countries and considered an alliance.

Philippines missing in Pacifica
I know, for some reason the data on Philippines are not included in the source database. I contact them to add it if they can.
You used API? Cause I see more data which are incorrect.
But based on the “population”, you can have an general guess how much it will add to pacifica.
Yeah true. Based on that Aleksandra the Great attacked Serbia alone back in 2018 and won.
[removed]
OK found it now, updated the data. Roughly 1% difference.
I used erep box and erep tools data. What is incorrect?
Most of the stats are different on erep box and erep tools. Erep tools shows 374 total legends in Serbia while box is probably 469? (Your stats in the table). Austria is 19 but shows 20, thats the dead guy probably.
Tools does not have Legends data afaik, only divisions data.
You just search citizen ranking by rank points and get to the last guy who has minimum 20 billions rank points thus legend 1. Not complicated. And this is only for alive citizens thats 100% sure.

nice
Nice job.
Wish you can analyze also Hydra, very strong alliance and dwarf
For sure, i will o7
I'd also be curious on what a whole world country rank by these metrics looks like.
Oh, you mean so the whole world rank is like 200.
Then Alliance X is 80
Alliance Y is 110
Alliance Z is 70
Great idea! Will look into that in the future!
I mean a long list of all the countries, sorted by individual country power
Yeah and also the “whole world score” is interesting too.
Because it gives us a base to compare alliances and countries to it. Just like when we say something is 30%, we are comparing it against 100 (Max percentage is 100), so it is 30 from a total of 100.
If we have a total world rank, we can then compare a country / alliance score against that total rank. It be more meaningful!

244 packs in CRO? Where are those packs? Or did you just wrongly assume that people with PP or MP also have BP?
Assume?! There is no “assumptions” in data.
This data is same for all the countries, with the same source. And it’s from the packs data in “e r e p t o o l s” website.
Also, the data is “neutral”. It is what it is. And it is changing everyday based on new packs purchases and changes. But data does not care which country are we from.
It’s all the packs combined, that are available in the database of the website (Can’t mention the name of the site because eRepublik does not like it for some reason).
I checked the number again right now as you objected. I exported data yesterday but today’s number is also something similar to that 244… no big difference.
Also, take this into consideration. It’s all the packs for all countries. Not any specific packs. And packs is just 1 factor of calculation. So overall, it’s fine.
Sry to tell you, but you added all the columns. You should read the eRtools description first - they are total, then shown per division. So you basically doubled the amount of packs. And BP is ot visible, so no way they can tell how many BPs players bought.
You are right about that, But even if its double, even quadruple it does not make a difference in the overall score. Will it?
Also as i described in my formula, i gave a WEIGHT to each factor, basically multiplied factors to their weights.
Look at tall the data here:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Q7xKJ9JtnEUmQKgH_MO8xVkIkUdIZVDGwLMlB3t2pbM/edit
There is no error in the final score i can assure you that. Read the formula carefully.
I replied below... error is x2 the amount of packs. So more packs = bigger the error.
I updated the article for you, end of the article. Half the pack numbers same score. If we even change all the data to something else, as long as it’s not significant change, i’m pretty sure the score results will be pretty much around the same area.
I suspect the tools site does this, but this would distort pretty much everyone equally
He added all the packs twice, so more packs = bigger error. And BP is not visible, not sure how eRT got those numbers?
Exactly, when you use a source for all countries, it makes it equal for all. However we can always have some objections about the details in all kinds of data.
For another example we can say the population data in eRepublik is not accurate. Or it changes a lot. Or it is only the accounts that logged-in once.
Or we can say the Legends of a country are not only soldiers of a country. There are others as well.
Or we can say this data is only about the strength of the legends, not all the other accounts strength…
But using them all, and picking them all from equal sources for all the countries, does not make a huge difference in the final scores. Again we can always say a thing can be 1% to 5% different depending on how we look at it.
Country with 100 packs, your data presents as 200. Country with 10 packs is presented as 20. So you present it as 180 packs difference, when in fact the difference is 90. And again, there is no way of knowing who has BP.so I can only assume looking at data that country with more packs is shown as more BPs as well, and there is no way of knowing if that is accurate. For CRO it isn't.
Tomsiro:
Take a look at final score with HALF the packs:
https://postimg.cc/n9sXkPmS
Just calculated it. SAME EXACT SCORE. I created the formula i know what i’m talking about mate. Tries to make it as fair as possible. On the packs being double although it does not make any difference on the final score, but i will update them.
Voted.
Measuring is a hard task.
Thanks and respect.
