Join the new world

Only a few days ago, the country regained its independence. The first step on a long road. Now, eSlovak Democratic Party - eSlovenska Demokraticka strana is ready to help us all walk on this road.
Together with the official announcement of being the candidate of eSDP-eSDS for the Presidency of eSlovakia, I hereby present you the government program for the next month. At the end of this month, eSlovakia will be a bigger country, with a fully functional economy, with a working political structure and far more secure than today.


I. Economy

The most important thing today is to make sure the people of eSlovakia have a place to work and food to buy. Then comes the housing and other commodities (gifts and moving tickets). In the meantime, we have to work on having a positive commercial balance (exports - imports).

The eSDP-eSDS government will:
1. create a Q1 and a Q2 food company; 20 people will work here, depending on their skills. while the prices of the raw materials on the international markets are still low, the state will finance the import of enough grains to sustain the production for 1,5 months. DEADLINE: 2 days.
2. create a Q1 gifts company; 10 people will work here. as before, the state will finance the import of enough diamonds to sustain the production for 1,5 months. half of the production will be sold on the free market, the other half will be used to raise the wellness (thus, the productivity) of the employees of the state companies. DEADLINE: 3 days.
3. create a Q2 housing company, rapidly upgraded to Q4; 10 people will work here. since we have wood (medium) in Central Slovakia, we expect to find enough wood on the market at decent prices. if the needs of the company will exceed the offer, we might consider creating a state company on the wood industry. DEADLINE: 15 days.
4. create a Q1 weapons company, upgraded as necessary (depending on the market conditions). 5 to 10 people will work here. 90% of the production will be exported - 10% will be sold on the local market. DEADLINE: 15 days.
5. set the exchange rate at 25 SKK/1 gold. a strong local currency is a signal of trust in the capability of the economy. as the economic situation changes, we will allow a float in the 30-40 and 40-50 intervals, with a long-term consolidation on the upper limit. DEADLINE: CONTINUOUS.
6. sign trade agreements with countries that have the lowest prices on the market for the products we need. DEADLINE: 7 days.

We won't have a Congress until the 25th of November, therefore no changes in the tax system will be possible for 3 weeks. After the Congress will be in place, eSDP will:
- set the minimum salary at 2 SKK
- set the VAT at 10%, and the income tax at 5%
- set the import tax at 99% for wood, food, gifts, weapons an moving tickets, at 50% for grain, diamonds, iron and oil and at 10% for houses.
Hospitals and defense systems will have a special regime, as they are bought by the state: 0% VAT and import tax, 5% income tax.


II. Security

On a medium term, eSlovakia will not be able to defend itself alone, no matter what kind of weapons our soldiers have - we have to accept this reality. That's the reason why a weapons program for the population will not be a first-grade prority of the eSDP government.
Instead, the government will buy a Q4/Q5 defense system and a Q5 hospital for Central Slovakia. TIMELINE: 30 days.
But the main goal is joining a military alliance - and eSDP-eSDS's option goes firmly to ATLANTIS. It is clearly the strongest military power in the eWorld; besides, the country that set eSlovakia free - eRomania - is a part of it. If we want to be recognized for something in this world, that “something” is honor.

I am Romanian and during my mandate as President of eSlovakia, eRomania will continue to offer its help to this country. This mandate will be a bridge between the two friends and also a bridge between the past and the modern, developed and powerful eSlovakia.
As far as I know, I have the highest military strength in the eWorld; I pledge this strength to the freedom of eSlovakia. I fought for this country to become independent, I will defend this wonderful achievement. Along with my close ties with the eRomanian leadership, this is a guarantee for the independence of eSlovakia.
During my mandate as President, I will lobby eRomanian government to support eSlovakia in its efforts both to join ATLANTIS and to expand to its natural borders. I am confident that at the beginning of next month we will see a great eSlovakia!


III. Government

Until the Congressmen will be elected, I will appoint a transition Cabinet; I expect all the political forces to join this structure, for the best of our country:
- minister of Finance - will enforce the monetary policy (as presented in the Economy chapter);
- minister of Economy - will manage the state companies
- minister of Foreign Affairs - will ensure, along with the president, the dialogue between eSlovakia and all the other countries and structures of the eWorld, according to the security strategy of our country;
- minister of Public Welfare - in charge with the social programes (gift aids, subventions for buying houses etc.).

Being active in eRepublik for almost a year makes me one of the most experienced ecitizens in the eWorld. I will organize the government as a modern one, capable to organize eSlovakia as a modern country. If you care about your country, be a part of it!
