One time in basic training...

I broke a mans nose.
It all started before Judo training. The Drill Sergeants wrangled all the alphas together in a ring of men. Then they picked me and another guy from 4th Platoon who was a maggot.
We were to enter the ring of men and fight until they said "Stop", no whistle. We squared off and the the Drill Sergeant took his hands off of our gloves (No head gear). It was over in about 5 seconds when I smashed this guy in the face.
Next the Drill Sergeant picked me out again and then my 2nd cousin (literally served with me). Gloves off... and we neither got the better of the other. We pummeled each other violently for 60 seconds straight they said. It was a good day.
