You should fight only Air Battles
Use Ground Battles just to hunt BH
You should start looking for Battles in your home country. If all of them have Damage you could search here

Look for Battles without damage (both sides)
* Use bazookas (1x Hit each side). Or use small amounts of energy.
* Hit
* Travel to the other country, and give the same amount of damage (the goal is 1 Fuel = 2 BH)
You could delay your Level up process to have more time at lower divisions (1,2 & 3) to win more gold through BH. You will no be able to do it in Div 4.
I don't recommend to hire workers in beginning of game: you should pay them the same amount you gain, and you can just use their work for low quality food or weapons.
Wait to build an aircraft factory, then you can think to use few workers, they are a loss of personal money.
Too keep active daily workers (I work upwards of six times a day), one must pay above best offer on job market
