My Presidential Endorsement

I endorse Monsieur Guillontine as my choice for President. I have worked with him for 4 months now. He is dedicated to a free and prosperous Switzerland and has worked tirelessly towards that goal. I know of no candidate that is even one half as active as he is, both in the forum and on IRC. He is by far the most qualified candidate on the ballot.

Qualifications:

Foreign Affairs is his real area of expertise and in my opinion, that is the most important talent needed in a Swiss President. If we were a large country Foreign Affairs wouldn't matter so much. But since we are so small and since countries around the world are constantly seeking to conquer and control us, Foreign Affairs is the main requirement needed for this position. Monsieur Guillontine (MG) is very social and on speaking terms with all of the important heads of state. He has developed relationships with all of them. By the time any other candidate could accomplish this, their term would be over! We cannot afford to have a lapse in matters of Foreign Affairs.

Now MG has negotiated an agreement with Slovenia in which we permanently keep two regions and receive 50 gold in rent for the other two. That is the best deal we have ever had. I actually do not believe that another candidate could have managed that and I don't believe that another candidate can maintain this agreement. Perpetuating this treaty is of ultimate importance. MG knows when to have peace and when to have war.

I have lived through over two tumultuous years in eSwitzerland. I have seen politicians come and go. None of them have been so rational and experienced. We need that to continue. We cannot afford to put the country in inexperienced hands. All of the candidates have specific areas of expertise and they would be welcome in MG's cabinet... but none of them are as talented as an administrator and coordinator.

So... I urge you to re-elect Monsieur Guillontine for a 2nd term.
