My Love Letter to Paul Proteus (PROTEUS 4 PoTeUS)

What are the qualities of a good ePresident to you? Good looks? Smarts? Shrewd politics? good leadership qualities? activity?
I know someone who has all of those things and he is my subject for this article. This is my love letter to Paul Proteus.

I don't remember how I first met Paul but I remember serving under him when he was our ePresident in 2013. He doesn't remember it fondly but I do. I was 8 years younger back then and so was he. We didn't know each other very well. I was a weird spreadsheet goblin who preferred spreadsheets over human interaction. However, our friendship grew over the phases of my eLife and now he's one of the few people left that's been around for all three of me eLifes.






What do you think of when you think of Paul?

I know he's a good looking guy but I know what's beyond his physical gifts. I've known Paul for years, much longer than a lot of people I've known in my real life. Paul is a quality guy. While he clearly has the experience needed to be ePresident he also has the down to earth qualities to make an excellent ePresident. Paul is the man i go to when i have questions about life, eLife, and he's who I would ask help for if I were to run an eCountry.

The problem is Paul. That's right, Paul is so perfect that only he can stop himself. He doesn't want to be ePresident for some reason. I personally just don't get it. He's got the charm and the smarts for it but he doesn't want to run.

I can imagine the eCountry with him as president. We would win every war, our treasury would expand tenfold, and our population would triple. A side effect of his good looks I'm sure.



So what's the point of this article? Why am I writing an article that maybe 10 people in this fake world might read? What's the point if Paul wont even run for ePresident?

Just because he wont do it now doesn't mean I cant convince him to do it later. The game needs another Proteus in office and if not the country then I need it. And I'm a selfish bastard.

Who cares what Paul thinks? I think we need to join together, not as a party, but as an eNation and force Paul to take office. He is the most obvious candidate in my eyes. He has what it takes to give it a try again. He doesn't have a cabinet yet, he doesn't have the will to do it, and he doesn't even want to do it.

But if you all join me, together we can force Paul into eOffice. We can be ruled by Paul once again and our country can correct itself for the better.
We can show the eWorld how amazing we can be and all we have to do is make Paul say yes by any means possible.
