Interview with eUK President; Huey George

Day 5,558, 04:22 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by Gavin C. Mister

I asked the CP of the eUK Huey George for an interview and to my delight he said yes!

I will now ask The President 4 questions, Enjoy!

1. My President, congratulations on your re-election as CP. Have you ever felt pressure or
Competition during a Election?

Huey: In some of my earlier campaigns for the country's presidency there was a bit more competition. Although I would say, if one was to order a list of the most competitive elections for the UK's country presidency in our history, none of my elections would rank highly in such a list. Recently competition has been minimal resulting in a lack of pressure to present a manifesto or campaign as my record speaks for itself. The majority of voters have a fair idea of what another term with me as Country President will be like.

2. As President do you feel as if you have accomplished a lot in office?

Huey: I’m not sure, terms have started to blend into each other. I generally measure my success mostly around the following criteria

Routine opportunity to obtain medals via training wars, country currency via True Patriot progress and opportunity to increase military and aircraft ranks. This I feel has been largely successful and has only required routine communication with our training war partners including the tax revenue to return has been tracked and collected (although probably overdue asking some of our partners for a return). An additional training war or two wouldn’t go amiss though so I will explore this further next term.
The administration of the Christmas Air & Air Cadet Programme and British Armed Forces Q7 Weapon Rewards Scheme, This has been acceptable however I could improve the frequency of the rewards issued. I could also improve transparency in spending in this area as it’s recorded but not reported.
Provision of a high weapons bonus in Scotland - I’ve continued to be successful in this area, thanks currently to Iran
Maintenance of the Spanish Resource Concessions I’ve continued to be successful in this area
Members of my cabinet working with Congress and the community to make our battlefield and skies a more equitable and community-governed environment for our pilots and fighters I’ve contributed to this however success is largely down to others.
Deer Resource Concession to increase UK Food Country Bonus I have tried to find a deer concession for the UK on many occasions however not this term. This continues to be a point I fail at.
UK Government "monetary" market trading and Bank of England monetary market trading. A successful but unreported period again. Another aspect I need to improve on.

3. You Recently named Castello38 as Minister of Education, What makes you choose cabinet members and how much Influence/Power do they have over the country?

Huey: I base cabinet appointments based on recommendations, reputation and experience. In terms of “influence/power” over the country difficult to assess, schemes at improving the community and player experience are potentially unlimited! Making changes to our stance of neutrality on the world stage, our training war partners, and conducting ourselves respectfully and diplomatically limited power.

4. You have been CP for almost 2 years now, Do you have any plans for Retirement?

Huey: No plans for retirement currently and future plans in that regard would be dependent on the situation at that time.

Mr. President, Thank you for doing the interview and good luck in this upcoming term
