So I've been wandering around the empty void that is my mind trying to answer the question posed by JFK.

"Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country."

And since I'm not a buxom blonde movie star my answer differs from Marylin Monroe's. Here it is.

To any Canadian less than 1 year old who hasn't started a paper yet post below and I'll send you the gold necessary to get the party started. All I ask is that you write at least one article a month (preferably more but I know how writer's block is).

To any Canadians who would qualify but already started a paper if I don't run out of gold I'll reimburse you also as long as you've posted at least one article in the past month.

Now I am far from a rich man. This offer is only good until I run out of gold at which point all I can offer is moral support.

NOW GET TO WRITING!
(Bonus cool points if you keep it funny.)

Edit: I didn't realize how cheap it was to start a paper. Instead of the 2 gold I'm offering 5. Enough for 11 players who are interested. Also if anyone needs help on their paper I would be happy to help them with editing or finding images.

ITS not about the gold
its about what to write.
Most of them have loads and loads of gold.
They are just not interested in expressing their selves in articles by writing about this and that.
It is not their element. Not their thing.
But i see that you are in somewhat of a panic mode. You are writing a new article every day.
Calm down. Relax. Try and find something worth writing and organize the article rather than flooding them with articles. Make them ''linger anxiously'' for your ''news''.
You will not make a lot of cash by donations by just making an article for a handful of people.

This is true. I'm not forcing this on anyone. But let's face it we need more silly and entertaining articles. I remember the old days when there would be at least 5 articles posted a day. If I can motivate even one player to have some fun writing it will be worth it.

Also have in mind that every time you shout in the message link that you have an article it is ONLY seen by your 62 friends (yes 3 died). So try and add more people in the game. They do not have to be from just the alien planet of eCanada. Try some... other planets too. The is plenty of life there too with many species that speak other languages

I only know enough German to make them angry lol. I post links wherever I think people might see them. And I'm not shouting or trying to be a pest. I honestly don't understand why you're trying to rain on my parade... I'm only trying to encourage activity.

I do miss some of the sillier role play. even though I don't have much personal space for all that pompous winbaggery the old days when people actually wrote up proposals and stuff was kind of neat.

OG Dopes would post nonsense at least 2 times a week. That reminds me I need to bring back the "Editor's notes" gag. All my articles are posted under entertainment for a reason lol.
