Day 5,339, 16:20 Published in Serbia Croatia by Marko Stjepanovic 93

Regarding my last article, where you can comment so I can count you for next season of FPL. https://www.erepublik.com/sr/article/fantasy-premier-league-erep-league-2022-23-2756734/1/20

I hope that whit this article I can help you understand better what FPL is.

On the website https://fantasy.premierleague.com/ it's available now you can create a team, with 15 players (can't go with more or less), that have 2 goalkeepers, 5 midfielders and defenders, and 3 attackers, with starting budget of 100 in-game currency which is the same for everybody.

Then you use 11 players on the field, 1 goalkeeper, 3 to 5 defenders and midfielders, and 1 to 3 attackers (based on what you think is the maximum amount of points you can have in that gameweek looking at which players are playing against which team and how they played before/during the season), and you have backup goalkeeper, and 3 players on the bench, where is important which player is first on the bench, will explain shortly why.
Subs are used automatically when players on the field are not included in the matchweek games (due to illness, injury, suspension, and score 0 in that matchweek, this is not the case when the player played at least one minute but didn't get any points.

Subs will enter if the formations won't go outside of the limits (sub goalkeeper will enter only for a goalkeeper who didn't play, if you have only three defenders where one didn't play, and the first auto sub is a midfielder, it will not pass, as per the rule. The same goes with midfield and attack, if you have only two midfielders on the field, the first playing auto sub must be the midfielder, and if you have one attacker, the first auto sub must be the attacker)

Term clean sheet is when the team doesn't conceive the goal during the match, every player that is not an attacker and played for at least 60 minutes will score some points. If the player's coach takes him out in 65 minutes, and after that team conceives a goal, the subbed-out player will have his clean sheet points as he was not on the field when the clean sheet points are deducted.

The list how the points are scored and how you get overall points during the matchweek.
Action Points

For playing 60 minutes or more (excluding stoppage time) 2

For each goal assist 3
For a clean sheet by a goalkeeper or defender 4
For a clean sheet by a midfielder 1
For every 3 shot saves by a goalkeeper 1
For each penalty save 5
For each penalty miss -2
Bonus points for the best players in a match 1 to 3 (best gets 3, can be more than one player for every point)
For every 2 goals conceded by a goalkeeper or defender -1

For each red card -3
For each own goal -2

https://imgur.com/a/OevD6OZ - here is how my time looked last year in gameweek 1.

For the rules of the game:
-You can have a maximum of 3 players from the same team.
-You cannot exceed the value of over 100.
-You can have unlimited free transfer between the day you create a team and the start of gameweek. The start of gameweek (called deadline) is one and a half hours before the first game in that round.
-After the start of gameweek, for every week you get one free transfer, every other transfer deducts 4 points from the overall points. On the transfer page there is information for this so you can be noted in advance that you need to be cautious with the transfers (sometimes people don't look and make dosen transfers unintentionally losing points, and sometimes, it's for the tactic as the plan is to have players that will help you do better this week. You can save free transfer if you don't need it in that gameweek, and you will have two in the next gameweek, but you can't have more than two(every other is not counted)
-After the deadline, there is a short period, where the website is doing preparation for the next week and is not available (there is a text on the screen when that happens), after which you can start changing the team for the next gameweek even when games in this gameweek haven't yet started.
-On the team page, you can choose captain and vice-captain for every week, where the captain will score double points for that week (16 when he would have 8 with no captaincy). The vice-captain will just get double points if the chosen captain is missing from the game (ill, suspended, injured, etc)
-There are situations when the soccer team can't play games in the current game week, which makes that gameweek smaller(less than 10 matches), called a small blank gameweek. If there are more teams that are not able to play, then it's called a big blank gameweek. The same goes when teams may play more than one match in gameweek, so there are small double gameweek where few teams play two+ matches and big double gameweek where a lot of teams play two+ matches. This occurs when the team is busy with matches in cups/intercontinental games, which are scheduled after the England league, so the matches are overlapping.

-For the season, you have 4 chips to use to boost up your points.

Chip number one - Wildcard, giving you the option to have unlimited free transfers in one gameweek, which can be used once during the first half of the season.
All transferred out players are lost, and all bought players are in (if you sell a player you can repurchase him for free during wildcard, same as for the bought players, you can sell them as many times you want for free). If you don't use it in time it will be lost
After the end of the first half of the season, you get one more wildcard to use.

Chip number two - Free Hit, giving you a similar benefit as wildcard (unlimited free transfers), but these players will be there only for the gameweek when this chip is used, once the gameweek start, for the next week's page, there will be all old players you had before the chip was played. You have only one Free Hit for the whole season.

Chip number three - Triple Captain, giving the captain three times more points than regular (24 instead of 8 without captaincy). You have only one Triple Captain for the whole season.

Chip number four - Bench Boost, where all your bench player points will be counted like they were on the team, so you could have points from 15 players instead of the regular 11. You have only one Bench Boost for the whole season.
