Hello Federalists!

I have decided to give party politics a try again and run for Party President of the Feds. For those who don't know me, I have been party president before. A few years ago I was in this position for the party for a few months before I burned out, like I usually do, and quit eRep for awhile.

Back then and now I always coveted the ideas of retention and recruitment. New players were the life blood of our party. We forced new players into higher levels of leadership here in an effort to keep the party fresh with new faces and ideas.
Even though eRepublik has made these ideas harder to implement with how little new players come to the game. I will still hold this to be one of my main positions.
On top of that I believe we need to find new ideas to make the game more fun. For those of us who play the meta more than the main game its important to find ideas to keep us interested. We thrive on politics, drama, and making decisions that effect the rest of the game. I will try to provide something for those of us who like that part of the game.

So my main focus as party president for my term will be fun and recruitment.


With that id like to announce my cabinet and the ideas I have for each category.

Vice Party President:
Centomax

I have chosen Centomax as my VPP because i need someone whos active and knows the current landscape of politics in eRepublik. Cent was the leader of this party last term and i will be leaning on him for ideas and help while I acclimate to the current landscape of politics with my recent return.

Chief of Staff:
Melissa Rose

Mel has been in the party for a long time and will be a great asset for my term should I win my election. As my CoS its her job to make sure the oldfags in my cabinet actually do things. She is my chief of annoying party members. She is also Mel so I kind of have to give her a job.


Political/Media Director:
Paul Proteus

Paul is the eternal Political Director. He's the one whos decided that he wont stop being a Fed until the game dies. I've asked Paul to be my PD because I don't want him to quit the game and Paul gives very good advice about my personal issues, he's kind of my psychiatrist. He doesn't want to quit eRep for the next few years so I may as well give him the title he deserves, right?

Director of Fun:
Tiacha

The director of fun is an interesting position. Its main goal is vague and very open. Its goal is to create fun out of nothing. Which is one of my main goals if I'm elected. I think there is a distinct lack of fun in eRep now and I believe Tiacha can bring some back into the game.

Recruitment and Retention:
Malarkey83

Recruitment and Retention is a tough job nowadays. Tough as in there is no more new players, at least not like there used to be. However I still find it to be an important job for the feds to continue. We need new players. Without them the game stagnates. Even though the job will be tough I believe Malarkey is the perfect man for the job. Another focus of this position is to grow our discord community in order to create more conversation there.




So my main focus as party president is to make eRepublik more fun and attempt to bring in new blood so our party can grow as much we can grow it.
My main re additions are R&R and the fun department. R&R will grow our party and attempt to get new members involved in leadership roles. The fun department will create more fun.
I am hoping to have weekly articles about the events in eRep myself and I'm asking my cabinet members to be as active as possible. I will attempt to grow our discord to create a larger community there. While we only have 80 members in our party we can still try and create something fun and memorable before the game dies out.
